I’m still just trying to figure out if the hardcore Ron supporters ever thought he had a chance to begin with. I read a question “why hasn’t Desantis convinced more people?” And a response that basically says “Cult 45 will never change their minds”.
I’ve seen this in countless threads and I’m still waiting for anyone to respond with something more substantial than Trump is bad and is a cult leader.
You either have to accept that Trump is too popular to beat, or be honest about what Desantis could have, or could still do better to convince people to support him.
I completely understand there are a faction of morons that believe dumb shite and repeat even dumber talking points they hear from Trump and associates. But suggesting that anyone that doesn’t already agree that Desantis is the right choice is part of a cult of idiots, is simply a losing strategy.

While I think he probably is done (and not even because of these farce indictments), literally no one has really emerged as a top alternative candidate. There's talk of Desantis, but he really has cooled since his election as governor.
