At the core of Progressive thought is self-loathing

which has its genesis in the days of Northern Carpetbagging imposed on the South. Rather than finding the courage to self-correct they choose to support any and everything which justifies their arrogance to those unlike them. If restrained, fine, but they are so naive they attract others who side with them only to use them [see unchecked immigration as Exhibit A].
Theses newcomers to the Progressive tent have no affinity for yesteryear struggles as they are the poster children of self-service. There is absolutely no regard, much less ownership of the nation's moorings, and don't even rise to the courtesies of street gangs and respective territories
If you have any hope for you children/grandchildren one must reject Progressive candidates and their influence on the public good.

They make decisions based on emotions. It may be genetic. And there is nothing particularly wrong with that, in and of itself. Most people are capable of feeling & showing empathy. The problem is that same psychological tic makes them gullible & easily swayed, and the advent of online media supercharged the ability to socially engineer these folks.
Look how fast they went from 'mostly sane' people to believing boys can be girls, national pride is racist, and mass immigration from third world countries is a good thing. And the old-school Liberals were dragged along with the insanity because, again, they cannot think critically.

At their core, they are misfit toys not good for much of anything and are actually acutely aware of that fact from an early age. Instead of sitting down and shutting up like proper retards, they lash out.

Of all the progessives I've known in my life, they all (but 1) have had one thing in common. The common denominator was agnostic/atheism.
If there is no god, then the highest power on earth is government. Government becomes god for them. And even better, a god they have an opportunity to control.

If I deny the reality of my sinful nature - my inherent depravity - then I have no need for God/reconciliation and a healthy segment of our population leans this way
