I’d honestly rather it be aliens than the Chinese or Russians. If it was the latter, we’d be fricked sideways. If the former, we’re still potentially fricked sideways if they decide they don’t like us, but at least we’d all be fricked sideways together.

Yes. Because we developed something so far advanced that even they, who can travel across the galaxies fear. They fear we will attack the universe with our atomic bombs.
If the testimony from both US and Russian ICBM site personnel is to be believed, there have been encounters in which these craft have shut down and enabled launch systems of these missiles. There could be some effect of nuclear detonation that we are not are not aware of yet. Or they have a vested interest in this planet and or its inhabitants and dont want humans to fubar it.

Then would we see the in between tech and science(going from jet propulsion to anti gravity) being used in something other than secret military applications? If the data of the flight characteristics of these craft is to be believed then we are talking about craft that can do things that we dont even have theoretical grasp on yet as to how it works.

Sounds like he understands time and distance. The aliens have the same problem getting here as we would have going there. Science fiction and alien spotters gloss over this issue, which is really huge.
It’s a only a huge issue when viewing things through the spectrum of our understanding. If someone/something can build an aircraft capable of doing things shown in the Navy video they are literally thousands of years beyond our capabilities and understanding of physics, propulsion etc.
We are basically the first humans discovering fire compared to what we can accomplish today vs whoever built that thing. It’s not only that we don’t know what it is, it’s that we can’t even begin to understand how it works.
There is no other logical explanation. It wasn’t built by humans, yet there it is. So who built it?

Nothing even remotely close to what was shown on that video. You really think some other country is just sitting on technology many, many, many magnitudes superior to the best known aircraft in the sky today? That’s ludicrous.
This thing was able to redirect on four planes without losing speed. Moved with no visible signs of propulsion. Enter the ocean and exit without shattering into a million pieces, and move at speeds we can’t even measure. It’s so far from our capabilities there is no legitimate terrestrial explanation for it. There just isn’t.
Hell, we have private companies that are able to match or best world governments in space travel but people actually believe that other countries are sitting on technology that we can’t even begin to understand? That’s absolutely asinine

Who said anything about some other country, and sitting on technology? You trying to tell me that the average man in 1959 wouldn't look at the SR71, knowing that it can fly faster than a bullet fired from a gun, and take pictures so clear that you can read a newspaper from what is essentially space, and NOT think it's some kind of alien technology?

Very damn few know what our capabilities actually are. You and I don't know. And the federal government damn sure isn't telling us. If they did, it wouldn't be the truth.

Exactly. Unless they have found some shortcut through physics that we have yet to know, it seems laughable. I have always been in the camp ( SETI ) who thinks that we would find some thing via radio signals or laser signals before we actually are visited physically.
That said, there is still a question of what exactly people are seeing and what is showing up on radar.

How many people do you think had a theoretical grasp of flying at Mach 3 in 1958? If you told someone you were going to fly from Los Angeles to Washington D.C. in an hour and 4 minutes, most would have laughed, and thought you were touched.
Hell, I'm borderline retarded, and I have a theoretical grasp on how stuff like this works. The entire galaxy works off of gravity and magnetics, right? I mean the planet we live on has it's own magnetic polarity, does it not? If you've ever played with magnets, they do some pretty amazing shite, with no visible means of propulsion, don't they? Imagine harnessing that power, creating those magnetic fields to propel an object.

I have not yet met anyone, no matter how skeptical, who could sit through Lt. Fravor's accounting of the Nimitz encounter on Joe Rogan Experience who didn't change their mind about UFOs being "alien" technology. Another planet, Atlantis, time travelers, Gods, whatever it is it's not human. And it's very, very well documented at this point, now that we have AEGIS radar and recordings of them from advanced avionics on F-18 Superhornets.
There's room for skepticism about what they are, but there is zero room for saying they're human in origin. Go watch that JRE podcast.

I would think the average man would think its a very fast plane. Like I said, If its current human tech, where is the intermediate tech between jet propulsion and what is being reported? Sightings like what our pilots are witnessing are nothing new. Similar craft with the same flight characteristics were reported 70 years ago.

Enough that we actually engineered craft capable of doing it.

Do ayy lmao believers ever even entertain the possibility that long distance space travel is just not achievable with any tech? That the challenges really are insurmountable and that we and any other hypothetical aliens will be stuck on their planet forever? I think being brought up in the age of the internet and rapid technological development and all the fiction in tv/movies has lead people to believe that conquering the universe is an inevitability and it being physically impossible is unthinkable.

You may not be far off but thats not having a grasp on how it works imo. There has been plenty of anti gravity studies by the Air Force going back to the 50's. Much of it is declassified so you can research much of it yourself.

By far the simplest explanation is that the evidence is bogus.

Underselling it quite a bit, aren't you? The SR71 is an almost unconceivably fast plane, in 2021. I spent my childhood in Wheatland California, just outside of Beale AFB. My dad was a mechanic, who worked on the cars of more than a few of the SR71 pilots. He was told by several of them that they don't know how fast the plane will actually go, and probably never will. The pilots were absolutely forbidden from putting the hammer down, even for a little while.

What would make you think that is something that would be revealed to the public? Were all the steps that brought us the SR71 or the F117, or the Stealth Bomber made public?

Meh, not really. Most of the reports of Foo Fighters and the like were more along the lines of them flying more or less in formation with the planes, and then poofing gone.

Hey, I’m a nonbeliever so you don’t have to tell me about mistaken or false testimony. But what about the radar data? Has that also been tampered with or misinterpreted ?
Every single time?
