Why would somebody as how you voted if they then follow up with “I don’t care how you voted…as long as you did vote”?

There are some countries where voting is mandatory. If you know nothing about the election and you don't care who wins you must still vote randomly or receive a fine in your taxes.

Tell them you voted 3 times

Tell them that you couldn't vote because you are too stupid to get an ID

As an older American, I treasure the right to vote.
I know who in my past paid for that right with blood, sweat, and tears.
My personal conviction is if you have the right, and do not vote, you are a poser. While I may not agree with someone with a different point than my own, I respect it, if they bothered to cast a ballot.
As for all these voter fraud distractions, first question that should be asked is their experience in working an election as a volunteer / crappy pay person doing the actual work at the polls. If they have not, I stop listening to what they blather on about.
Some of the best of this country have served when called to war.
Some of the best of this country have served as a grunt at an election poll.

Those days are behind me of course, but early on, when I first got involved yes- absolutely, the citizens that do it right and are committed to a fair election are absolute American heroes

Because either way you're voting for Israel. Once enough people start refusing to participate they'll be trying to make it mandatory
