What if he got a copy of the book and changed his plan?

Progressivism has already crept into a lot of churches in the form of a new apostolic reformation. "Believers" that frequent these churches tend to bite off 100% on radical left leaning beliefs. Had one of them tell me that my social conservative Christian arse was the problem with race relations in this country.
OP, you're absolutely correct.

The world will essentially be controlled by 10 countries and a leader of that group will be the antichrist. He will seem like a savior - likeable personality - he will rise out of chaos. WHo is to say this person hasn't been born yet?

Then he wouldn’t be the Antichrist.

Doesn’t the scripture say no one will know when the end times begin? If so this isn’t it!

It’s possible an Antichrist is born and is a child at the moment. But IMO there is no Antichrist currently trying to take over. I feel we are just in a sporting event designed by God.

Wow....this is exactly what I think. I never thought I’d live through the End Times either, yet here we are. Right is wrong, wrong is right. Brother against brother, children against parents. As in the days of Noah.
God bless you. Maybe we will meet someday...

If you don’t know, we can’t explain it to you.

I always find that fascinating about evangelicals. They say they take the Bible literally until Revelations...then its all about interpretations and metaphors.
No sure whats hard to believe. Revelations is about a prophetic vision. Its a much different book than the rest of the NT. Whether you believe in Johns interpretation of his vision is one thing, but understanding why Revelation is interpreted differently than the rest of scripture is a pretty easy concept.

When we give the dumbest and most immoral people in the world a meaningful voice, our world is headed down.

Does he not have a mind of his own? If not, wouldn’t that mean God programmed him to do it?

Well...Christ’s return is kind of the point of the story
No it's not - seeing God's glory through a relationship of faith and trust is the point on the story.
Christ's return is just the end of this earth. I have a news flash for every person - Christ is "coming back personally" for you anyway...in a handful of years when you die.
Whether this entire world burns up is secondary to the fact we each individually are like a vapor in the first place.

I knew things would have to be bad, but I thought surely people would see this evil for what it is. It's like the world has taken a giant stupid pill.

The world is consistently on the path of globalization of everything. Eventually there will be one currency. Eventually your social status - Your mark - will be your life or death choice. Never imagined it would happen in our lifetime yet when you look at the things happening in the world - It's not far off. The brainwashing ability of the media has made this almost an easy thing to accomplish. I'm with you that its still not realistic - however - putting Jerusalem back on the map in Isreal has me thinking we are closer than previously thought.

I guess there is a hook there.
Kind of like --- Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's yet how many churches pay taxes?

’ve always wondered why the U.S. doesn’t show up as an ally to Israel or anything in Revelation.
This is the point I always bring when discussing the topic. We as a nation (myself included) are so self-centered in our thinking we tend to read the bible, Revelation specifically, and think it about how it goes down from our vantage point.
We as a nation aren't mentioned in Revelation. I don't know what that means but my thought is at that point we are no longer a world power.
