As I said upthread, it's hard to tell in these situations if someone like Driscoll is: (a) a deep state scumbag bureaucrat egomaniac who can't take orders or (b) a true pro, and Pete is the problem. Somebody had a post earlier in the thread from Erick Erickson that Driscoll is a pro.
One of my favorite military guys in the pod sphere, Col Larry Wilkerson, said he thinks Driscoll is out because he opposes feeding the MIC. I don't know.
It does make me wonder if there is a split over Iran, nukes, whatever.
