First stipulation leaves a lot of room for interpretation. Just enforce the mandate in Washington and Benton counties and we'll be good.

Government types tend to 'pig pile', it's in their nature. All of this really is sad though. I sure hope people get tired of authoritarians and their edicts when they vote in November, but sadly I doubt it.

The whole damn thing is illegal. He doesn't have the authority to do this. It's in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. There are plenty of medical conditions that would exempt someone from wearing a mask. It is also against the law to ask anyone about any disabilities they may have.
It's illegal to refuse service to someone for not wearing a mask and it's damn sure illegal to try and fine someone for not wearing one.

Personally, as a MAGA fan, I’m in the minority on this, but what is the harm in wearing a mask? Do it now, for a few weeks, slow the spread, take national focus off of Covid and re-elect Trump.
If cases and deaths continue to rise, we’re going to have a difficult time getting re elected.
This just seems like a stupid hill to die on. I’m thinking about the greater good- getting Trump re elected. If that means I have to see an uncomfortable mask for a month, so fricking be it.

How do they propose to issue the fines? If I'm walking down the sidewalk and stopped by a cop for not wearing a mask, I'm under no legal obligation to self identify without RAS that I have or am about to commit a crime.
Without an ID how are they going to fill out the ticket ?

It’s the boiling of the frog! Frick the useless masks! It’s not about the damn virus! You bend the knee to the mask you’ll bend for anything. Why would anybody want to “slow” the spread of a virus anyway? Do you pull a bandaid off slowly? No. Yank it quick and get it over with.
