Arizona judge orders Cochise County board to certify election results after refusal

Pima County Superior Court Judge Casey McGinley ruled that two GOP supervisors’ decision to opt against certification by a Monday statutory deadline was unlawful after Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs (D), who is now governor-elect, and an outside group sued the county.
McGinley ordered the board to convene later on Thursday and certify the canvass, and attorneys for the plaintiffs vowed to seek a contempt order if board members do not comply.

The board has a legal duty & obligation to certify the canvass of the election. That's not debatable.
A canvass is simply a tally of the votes. It doesn't address anything else. If Lake wants to sue, she can sue, but the board still has to officially report the tally of the results to the SOS.

They aren't certifying every aspect of the election. They are certifying that all the ballots within their county have been reported and counted. Its a tally. That's it. The law says they have to do that no matter what unless all the vote totals aren't in yet from the precincts.

They are taking the position that certification is just an administrative step in the process. That's not how it works.

Sooo, what power does this court have that the one in Maricopa County didn’t have in 2020? Or was it the State Legislature? Remember that they kept trying to get them to comply and be transparent. The election officials told them to pound sand.
How is this different? Tell them to kick rocks.
The fact that they let Hobbs preside over her own election should be enough to throw out the entire thing.

You talking about the audit? This is a canvass which is required by law to be done.

So, to recap:
No one can demand audits of ballots.
No one can refuse to certify election results due to irregularities.
People who show clear evidence of fraud are conspiracy theorists.
And no one has standing to bring any sort of election challenge in court.
