Ari Fleischer rips media for coverage of Pence walkout: 'Bias in action'

Former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer early Monday ripped the media for its coverage of Vice President Mike Pence's decision to walk out of an Indianapolis Colts game over a protest during the national anthem.
"Unbelievable. The MSM has been more critical of VP Pence for taking a stand than they have been of players for taking a knee," he tweeted.
"Bias in action: Pence walking out is a 'stunt'. Players taking a knee is genuine. The MSM really doesn't get it."

No one, literally no one, is saying that standing for the national anthem is a PR stunt. People are saying that Pence going to a game in which he knew players would kneel with the intention of leaving once said kneeling occurred is a PR stunt.
You're welcome to try to convince everyone that Pence went in utterly ignorant and clutched his pearls in genuine shock, but I think you're going to have a hard time.

Ari has never been accused of being mentally sharp.

It is smart of you to abandon this thread so quickly though. You are off your game a bit.

VP Pence has always been a big fan and was there honoring Peyton Manning.

I agree, but the fun I could have with this statement is off the charts.

None of this is in point. Fleisher's comment is on the hypocracy of the media. He's right.
Furthermore, the Vice President reacting to a protest of the flag and anthem is logically consistent. The players protesting the flag and anthem because of some issue it has with local law enforcement is not.

It was precisely on point to what was said in the OP, which is why I quoted it...

You’re going to be upset to learn that picture is the same one Pence posted a few years ago when he was governor. He wasn’t wearing that outfit yesterday

Why would I be upset? Like I care if he posted an old picture. Are you high Clarice?

I agree.
He knew what was going to happen and decided to capitalize on it. It just aggravates me that we wasted a shitload of money to prepare for his appearance knowing he was going to leave.

Are you proud? You started the OLD PICTURE talking point full swing now. It is such a gotcha
