Alas, I've been routinely informed by the media, and pretty much the entire left that this view is NOT OK...........well.............except when it is.
It wasn't the right that started this silliness. OF COURSE the left wants the right to say nothing NOW. That's the paradigm they want.
Very simple really. They want to be allowed to use their outrage to prevent any and all casting affronts they dislike as a form of racism...........and then, they want to say that anyone who takes the natural position when the opposite occurs is just whining and can't say anything.

I really wouldn't care, but part of his origin story is a Midwest Kansas farm boy, so that might take away from it a bit, but otherwise I don't really see an issue.

Make shitty movies and when you can’t dig yourself out of the hole, pull an SJW card to try and get people to see your shitty films.
They weren’t going to get a ton of comic fans anyway after their abominations so just try to get the SJWs to come in and fill those empty seats.

Making a movie that's been made 100 times for the sole purpose of making the lead black, and doing it with a shitty actor, is just wrong.
If they want to tap into that Black Panther success, they should focus on the classics. Cyborg, luke cage, blade, etc... There are plenty of great black superheroes that would be cool to rediscover on film. No need to force the issue.

I've watched that movie 5 times and every single time he throws black Panther over the cliff. He's a bad guy. He can't be superman. Superman is a virtuous person. He would never throw someone off a cliff
