Once a poster, especially an obvious alt, needs to try to make a moral equivalency between the US and Iran or Russia, I would suggest the usefulness of trying to engage them with logic period is over.

That was always a convenience. This is about the global order, petrodollar, keeping Iran from more advanced weaponry but most of all… controlling energy and keep China and Russia at bay.
