Xinn asked their viewers this morning.
70% said yes, 30% said no.
Not really surprising since they were xinn viewers.
I doubt if fox news viewers would say the same.

Fox is just a different side of the same coin. Don't buy into that one either.

But how can 70% say they are better off?
Inflation is higher. Interest rates are higher.
It's almost impossible for a one income family to afford a thirty year mortgage.

I am, yes.
But that's mostly because my industry had to rebound after the 2020 COVID crash, which I don't hold the administration at the time responsible for, and I don't give credit to the current administration for.
It was always going to rebound. But yes, I am MUCH better off financially than election season 2020, or even October 2019.

Four years ago, no. Portfolio is down and everything is way more expensive.

The biggest financial impact on my life is that I was scheduled to buy a new car last year. I'm hanging on to my old car because new car prices are ridiculous.
And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only guy who has made this car decision in the past 3 years.

Absolutely but no politician is responsible except they have gotten out of the way and opened the economy back up.

The worst year of our lives was 2020 with trump ostensibly in charge. National politics is completely meaningless. They are the problem. All on the same side working against the people

Did you get Covid welfare?? Why would anyone think times during the covid shutdown were better than today?

cars last longer and cost to much to trade like the old days
I will say some of these new safety features like laser cruise control are worth a trade.

But you go to the grocery now and 3 or 4 bags will cost you 80 bucks. Forget about buying steak
I don't remember how much gas was four years ago.
A thirty year mortgage was less than 3%

The question was if any of us are better off, so yes, financially my net income increase of 3k per year has me better off.

Sure but it has nothing to do with politics.
Looking back over my 50 years I can tell you my worst times were caused by my own bad decisions and my best times were because of hard work, family and getting wiser.
Who the president is, or whoever is in Congress, has had almost zero effect one way or the other
