Because gasoline was only $1.87 per gallon.

And that's all that matters.

Not what I asked.

Should student loans be paid off by govt?

If you folks are doing so well, why are we creating new welfare policies across the board?

I answered my thoughts on that and how I might even want to see a program funded for people in the future.

This is a badly inadequate polling of this question

Serious polling has it approximately the opposite

You marxism supporters can continue your pretend games if you'd like

If you are on the gubment dole or work for the federal gov, youre probably doing alright.

For those who have to spend money however out of our own pockets, things kind of suck.

You’re not better off now than you were under Trump. You’re just still poor and dependent on the labor of others so you haven’t noticed any change.

I have/make more money than I ever have. Job stability (I have been working in the large scale cannabis business for almost 10 years and not sure if you yall know this, it's a cash cow).

Own my own home. Have a beautiful wife. No kids. And it was achieved through hard work and long hours.

Precisely

Gubment Covid money benefitted the poor and the wealthy. The rest of us are paying for it.

Yep, which is why they are dependent on government.

They were taught in college about "whitey the Republican oppressor" and will never punch their way out of that wet bag.

Left wing politics are collective because they all are failures as individuals.

Strong people dont require collectives

But how can 70% say they are better off?

Inflation is higher. Interest rates are higher.

It's almost impossible for a one income family to afford a thirty year mortgage.

From a net worth standpoint we are but we are also debt free. Our cost of living is higher but we are managing. I don't know how a one income family can get by at all much less afford a mortgage and also have a down payment.

Its the uneducated mans dilemma. They see a higher paycheck and think the world is better.

Theres no objective value to the dollar and the value keeps shrinking, but idiots think the bigger paycheck means a bigger lifestyle.

Yes

I've had 2 promotions, make sure about 75% more than I did 4 years ago and also refinanced my house at 2.5% in 2020 within the 4 year OP window.

Maybe you should increase your value. Isn't that the bullshite you're always preaching?

The answer for me is easily yes. Guess I'm even further ahead of Roger than I already thought.

Yes, I am better off simply because my wife and I work our tails off. If not for Biden and his merry band of U.S.-hating leftists, we'd be waaaayyyyy better off.

Still, it is getting more difficult to keep up with the ever rising prices due to inflation, and I don't even want to think about retirement since despite our best efforts we have made few gains in that regard.

Prior to 2021, we were routinely getting between 10 and 15 percent returns. We've just been treading water the last two years.
