I like Tucker, but Nick is right that Tucker and his daddy may have been feds. Tucker basically acknowledged it in his dad's eulogy.

Tucker didn't just descend into the abyss. He created his own bottomless pitt. I've really hated to see it.
I agree with you on Vance, too. He's sharp, smooth, and seems like a good guy. But I simply don't buy that he's "unencumbered." He's like really good AI to me. Looks good, but something just doesn't seem right (I wouldn't mind being wrong about him).
