Biden is retarded. That isn’t the point.
I just want Trump to act like he did at the start of his presidency and not be led blindly around by Fauci and Brix.

its going to be a relief for everyone when he is stomped in the election.
for weeks after the inaugural these dudes will be exchanging emails about mail in voting in Alaska.

His Five O'clock briefings are a cluster and clown show and he needs to stop them. He's just too undisciplined to pull it off.

Sad.

Whole point of the protective measures is to keep that from happening.

Letting local authorities tailor their response to the specific circumstances in their area? The horror!

I thought it was to not overwhelm the hospitals?
And he’s going to bail those same mayors and governors out after they close his economy until June. MAGA!

I'm not sure which people you're referring to, but if I'm in the camp then it would be "Camp Trump Supporter" - that doesn't mean I can't think he's making a colossal mistake right now by keeping the country locked down. Now yes, he's the president and can't force states to do this or that, blah, blah, but we're not talking about presidential powers here. Trump is in a position to lead the country, lead (at least Republican) governors. It would do the country good if he got it right.

All I would expect of the president to do is what he can control. Shutting down flights from China and then later from Europe were good moves. I think him eliminating some of the red tape helped and as well as getting private industries to help with ventilators, masks, and sanitizer. Getting the hospital ships accelerated and to the locations looked to be a good thing at the time. I think he has shown his leadership by hosting the daily briefings and providing guidelines, not edicts, for the states to follow.
I think the The CDC blew the testing early. The models have been a disaster. I think the stay at home has been way overblown, unnecessary, and handled poorly. Those are not all on Trump, but the buck stops with him.

gotta love how some local city councilor or some random ICU nurse somehow bears responsibility to the same extent they should share the sentence with the Governors of those states.

You're the one mumbling something that makes no sense. If you don't agree with something in my post, explain what it is and why it's wrong.

I'm a trump supporter, but I agree with OP. I don't think trump has done well with this. He's let the fear and panic rule. Too many knee jerk reactions determined by bad data and poor models. Of course, I'll still vote for him because Joe is a puppet for the left.

Can anyone identify anything he’s done well related to this virus other than shutting down travel from China? Following the midget Hillary lover is not impressive either.
Are you pretending Trump won't be your President for another 4 years? Silly child, grow up and join the real world.

No, he played it per contemporary known risk.

People were saying to not shut it all down from the moment that was floated.
It was literally the worst recommendation that Trump could make.

I believe he was trying to calm everyone down and look for a positive spin. As more facts came in he changed his stance. Not a problem with me.

Didn’t like this but it’s what his task force was sharing with him. Still didn’t like it.

Keyword is guidelines. Not much he can do here except pressure with funding.
He’s done pretty well responding to PPE, ventilators, hospital space, even medical personnel.
He fumbles at times in the pressers has scored more. Overall he has done a decent job under the circumstances. I would have liked it better if we would have followed Sweden’s model but hindsight is awesome.
I’m more positive about his response than you, but I do not give him a “perfectly” score either. I wouldn’t expect any president to nail it perfectly though.
