Media, social media and politicians dictate how we feel and react on eveything social and political it seems. They control us all?

I honestly can't figure out a way around it.

Yes

People have replaced actual news and facts with memes that they repost and share as fact without any thought on the validity of it.

This goes for everyone.

I've said as much as few months ago about spygate. Are we getting roused up to be wanting conflict when those in charge of the legal system choose not to follow through with indictments?

I think most of us want racial healing. I bear no ill will toward anyone due to their skin color, and I want to be absolutely certain that there aren't any barriers in place that make it harder for black people to succeed in America. I do recognize that the effect of historical injustices extends past the date when Jim Crow ended or the CRA was passed, and I'm open to ideas that address those concerns.

But I want us to be honest and truthful in our discussions, and I abhor victim narratives that rob people of motivation and self-efficacy. For this, I am called a racist and part of the problem. I think there a lot of people like me.

Which tells me that the powers driving this aren't looking for solutions. They're demanding submission.

Not all of us but:
A. If you kneeling to black people....
B. If you wear your mask everywhere, and get it wet in the shower...
C. Want to defund police...
D. Want open borders....
E. Watch George ‘s funerals all week....
F. Think China is awesome....
See a pattern.

I don’t let any of those 3 things affect me like you’ve seen the past few weeks, but in the end I’m still programmed by something else to react in certain ways.

People got lazy and stopped asking questions and stopped thinking for themselves. Logic is losing. God help us all.

Nah. That’s a bit dramatic.

Social media is a cesspool though so you aren’t all wacko.

Agree completely and there are a lot with this opinion. I believe this should be the basis of President Trump's campaign in this regard. Moderate and especially - TRUTHFUL

You lost me here.

That is what I love about this board. Yes it leans right but links are posted for people to read and evaluate. There is enough dialog between reasonable people to exclude the modifier "everyone".

And I would extrapolate from the small sample of posters here to the population in general. Maybe not a majority but far less than "everyone".

we agree so they need to stop having 75% of the babies out of wedlock, they need to change their culture that glorifies violence and devalues education and create a culture that nurtures intact family's instead of vilifying an intact family as a white social construct.

until that happens nothing changes.

now we've had a truthful discussion!

If you really think that, then you should want them to realize that. And you should want to be sure there aren't any built-in excuses they have which prevent them from realizing it. Which logically leads to not responding with "stop having babies out of wedlock" to everyone of their complaints about the system.

i don't think that, i know that. the fact that you don't is your problem.

everyone faces barriers most barriers are self created.

for instance if george floyd aka floyd perry had simply cooperated with the police and quietly gotten into the back of the squad car, he'd still be alive, see how that works.

you need a big fat dose of grow the phuck up!

Growing up involves moving past dualistic thinking. Look into it.

Yes, the media has been used to control the masses for decades. The 4 owners of the media have ties to politicians and ties to Hollywood. It's a powerful group.

The government has spent billions into psychological research. They know how to get what they want.

Any white right winger who still supports Trump and the GOP is either asleep or a masochist.

Been saying. The psyche of the AA community is destroyed, and welfare did it. The people in charge may have expected this outcome.
