It isn't. Problem solved.

Just did.

Awkward.

Is that better or worse than Alabama's medical school?

So if you abort a baby the day before it would have been born, you're not taking a human life? That's a bold statement. Awkward indeed.

Use your doctorate, and link to where I said this.

I'll wait.

Then again I ask: on which day does it change from "not a human life" to " a human life"?

Like I said, you won't give a day because you can't.
Thanks for conceding. I love winning arguments by surrender. Are you French by any chance?

Nope.

I'm not giving one because I don't need to. Whether I can or cannot isn't important.

This seems to be a rarity, so I can see why.

I would just enjoy some honesty in the debate.

Only 6 out of 1,000 fetuses die after 20 weeks gestation in the United States via CDC data.

They are killing a person that is not here yet and would be here absent the abortion.

I reject the arguement that it is a woman's right to choose. The government has a myriad of laws that dictate under criminal statute matters that are a personal choice and involve their own bodies.

My fundamental opposition to abortion is based on the fact that fetal viability is not a measure of the beginning of life because it shifts with advances in medical science.

A pregnant woman can be killed and the murderer catches a charge for the fetus.

Life begins at conception and any unnatural interruption in that process is the termination of a human.

If we want to allow abortion, fine. Let's just be honest about what is happening and drop the bullshite.

I'm a Christian, and staunchly pro-life.

However, I refrain from buttressing my feelings on abortion with my faith. Not a good debate strategy at all.

You don't need religion to oppose abortion. You only need science.

Science and a freaking modicum of compassion for the defenseless.

I don't think we even need an arbitrary 20 weeks. Any elective abortion kills a person that is not here and would be absent the abortion. Whether or not this is "okay" is, I suppose a question (many Americans apparently think this is okay, apparently). What I've always objected to is the euphemistic language or flat out denial of what the procedure actually does.

I also reject a woman's right to choose an abortion on the basis of "it's her body". The mother and child have unique DNA from one another. It is not her body. It is in her body.

I'm pro life. However, it's not a huge issue with me and I don't think abortion should be illegal. I would be happy for it to be left up to individual states.

Having unique DNA is irrelevant.

A potato has unique DNA. A tumor has unique DNA. Identical twins have the same DNA.
