Pro-choice, but if I ever had an unplanned child with a girl, I would argue strongly on its behalf.
I do think we need to change the system where men have zero say in the matter. The woman may be carrying the child, which is a huge deal, but it takes two people to conceive. I cannot accept that the father-to-be has zero rights in such cases. And maybe we actually do, I thankfully haven't found myself in such a situation and don't know the system too well.

me moving the goal post? You're the one trying to make false equivalencies. So, pray tell, at what stage in development can you cut a fetus out of the womb, and simply feed it, wipe it's arse, and wrap it in a blanket and it be a OK like you would a baby born at full term?
Anything before that point, be it 1 week in, or 8 months in, is fair game in my opinion.
I don't care if people have abortions or not. I wouldn't because I have the means to provide for the child without assistance from the govt.

Say mom has a multiple pregnancy, and needs a selective reduction to save two of the babies. Do nothing and have three dead babies, or reduce and have two healthy?
What about children that are destined to be still born as soon as the cord is severed.
What if your 16 year old was raped and is now pregnant? OK with you? And whether one agrees morally or not a person that doesnt understand that some may wish to terminate that pregnancy is hard to reason with.
It is very easy to sit and be all high and mighty, but if you have ever known anyone facing these options, maybe you would stop and understand that not all abortions are used as a form of birth control.
