It amazes me people think that Walz, on day 1, would have responded with bent knee if he knew Homan was coming. Noem and company softened that area up for exposure and revealed the strategy of COIN. Homan will not waste any time with that fig Walz and Walz knows it. How soon the government operators are arrested is an unknown but Walz will lay down real quick for leniency.
On the other hand, COIN realizes it is on and their support just took a hit.

Trump was taking steps to enable a military action, plain and simple. Walz is trying to pump the brakes enough to ward that off. If you think that silly frick is going to change course and support Trump then you have more faith than me. Walz did not want to see Navy Seal helicopters dropping special forces on his roof, that's for sure

I’m always amused at the ‘for public consumption’ version that arises out of these ‘conversations’. But I would love to hear the dialogue when or if there are no recordings. Truth be told these people hate each other’s guts and would just as soon see the other imprisoned for life or assassinated. I’ll be the dialogue would make that on this Forum sound like Sunday School. Ha ha. Both postpone the ‘OK Corral’ temporarily and go back to the MSM competing narrative games. The Antifa go under the bus for now but still get paid. They’ll take it.
