I am thinking really hard right now. Remembering all the Presidents since I first voted in 1988....
Nope, none delivered on the bulk of their promises. Just unleft items for the next election cycle. Crumbling infrastructure has been a real thing, in election cycles for 30+ years.
The current admin, to me, has at least attempted to follow through on promises. Many of these struck down due to political games being played by partisan judges. I guess that doesn't matter to you. Got them glasses on.

Lol, illegals, illegals, illegals. Do yall have anything else? They aren't the major factor of our failed HC system. Reps are.
You are wrong as usual.
They are a major cost.

This is true; however the cost of everything is much higher than people can afford. Trump has some blame in this due to his decisions during COVID including PPP money where most businesses didn’t need it. That started the inflation and Biden made it much worse. We need wages to catch up but that will take a long time. Unfortunately I think we’ll continue to see credit card debt skyrocket.

There will not be deflation, nor do you want to see it. The best opportunity is real wage growth that provides relative affordability improvements.

Everything you just typed is largely irrelevant to inflation and the price of goods and services, it’s almost like you deflect because you are ignorant. Tax cuts don’t lower prices, they give you more money back to increase demand. Family values? Less government spending would lower the inflation rate, umm how stupid are you? You will get your wish and your stupidity will come crashing down

Nope, illegal immigration was more important to voters.

More hyperbole. You getting good at that shite.

People love repeating this. Deflation is not always bad. Especially when you take on price increases in four years that would have otherwise taken 20-30. If you want the gap between goods and wages to close then it would require some deflation.

You're an idiot. His tariffs were retaliatory. You knownwhay retaliation means?

How do undocumented people cost you money?
Depression of wages, shortages of housing stock, extra strain on an already broken social welfare system, dollars lost through crime, dollars lost through traffic accidents, etc, etc, etc.

I guess when they spent 70K for each ice arrested in MN, is what you mean?
Way less than what we spent to fly/bus them there, house them, feed them and supply them with healthcare.

Correct, deflation caused by a shrinking of the money supply through government policies would be a necessary evil and a net positive in the long run. Most people are referring to deflation caused by cratering demand and economic growth which would be a bad thing. The only way we are ever going to get economic recovery is through massive decreases in debt and government spending but it’s never going to happen

Millions of immigrants, many producing nothing, others as out and out leeches grifting off the taxpayers. They are given money for food and housing and medical care. This is competition for scarce items driving up costs. 20 million let in by Biden.
The people have forgotten who and what triggered inflation. Trump overpromised that he would lower prices. The best that can be done is to increase wages and lower inflation.
As the new manufacturing facilities are being built and higher paying jobs result things will look better to people but that takes time.

Rhetoric?
Maybe don’t say on day 1 do this or that.. say what you mean and mean what you say. It matters.

How do they hurt the economy? They put more money in than they take.
By sending money home to grow their home countries economy?
Or
By taking jobs that citizens used to do thereby leaving citizens unemployed?
Or
By depressing wages?
Or
By draining the budgets of FEMA and other organizations?
Or
By allowing for the implementation of widespread fraud structures?
Or
Well shite, this would be long if I kept going
So which one of these puts more into our economy than taking out?

Promises made, promises kept.
Also notice the states where inflation is highest. They are mostly run by democrats.
Posted on 2/14/26 at 3:43 pm to Rip Torner
Agreed. I do think some pullback on demand would be good. Look at vehicles for example, people continue buying vehicles they can’t afford with longer finance terms etc. It would be better if that would stop forcing auto makers to lower prices. I can’t imagine how leveraged most households actually are.

Well then, job cuts, not gov employees, manufacturing down bc of tarrifs, lack of confidence in spending. Higher prices for electricity/natural gas, housing and childcare does.
Who is working on that?
Who is working on that?

This right here disqualifies everything else you say.
But...

Higher prices for electricity/natural gas, housing
Since all three of these are down in most of tUSA, I see you care not for truth so that also disqualifies everything you say.
