Jesus Christ what happened to the AP? How is plagiarism a political issue? I thought this was a Babylon Bee headline.

Common sense and reason have fallen out of favor.

Sounds like another website should just copy and paste AP stories word-for-word without credit or linking the original source. That would be anti-conservative and align with the views of the AP.

quote:
Christopher Rufo, a conservative activist who helped orchestrate the effort, celebrated her departure as a win in his campaign against elite institutions of higher education. On X, formerly Twitter, he wrote “SCALPED,” as if Gay was a trophy of violence, invoking a gruesome practice taken up by white colonists who sought to eradicate Native Americans.
Lol

As a Black person in academia, “you always have to be twice, three times as good,” he said.
Apparently all you have to do is just steal others work.

New conservative weapon against colleges - plagiarism
One of the biggest problems with “everyone needs to go to college” is that there’s only so much that can be said about Chausser, reasons for the civil war, Roman Empire, etc. at some point, there’s nothing new that can be said or written about certain subjects. Therefore, people have to “evaluate X through the lens of Z” That’s how we get “transgenderism in the Civil War” or “how black people built everything”
There are too many mediocre/unqualified people going to college and not enough people working in factories. This is why our country is going to collapse.

Today I learned white people scalped the Indians, not the other way around.

Unbelievable how far the AP has fallen

I guess the AP won't mind if we plagiarize their articles.

I was about to post this too.
Perhaps I should have, since plagiarism is a new conservative weapon.
What a joke.
Leftists can do no wrong without its being a negative of conservatives

New weapon against colleges: the law.

Academic integrity is a racist tool of the right. Just like expecting folks to pay bills on time.
Posted on 1/3/24 at 7:34 am to Kinderman
Because their playbook is to demonize everything you do. Have a day America.

AP would never write that shite piece of an article if Claudine was a white guy named John.

Fascinating to see the AP embracing plagiarism. They cannot defend this.

She wasn’t even “equally” as good. She plagiarized someone else’s work.

Good luck to someone trying to hang her scalp from their lodge pole (gonna need some staples).

Expecting people to not plagiarize is making them be three times as good?

Why stop with plagiarism? Why isn't it ok to steal someone else's research for your own advancement?
If the institutes of higher education imploded tomorrow, what fields would be missed?

This article is unbelievable.

Is DrudgeReport still a thing? Anymore detail came about what happened with that site?
