AOC's district is the 14th - that's Queens and the Bronx. Hudson Yards is on the West Side of Manhattan (10th district). As far as NYC goes, not near her district.
Her district is largely run-down and depressed financially. Hudson Yards is prime Manhattan commercial property.
Great news for the West Side of Manhattan. Does squat for AOC's part of town. And cost her district 20,000 or so badly needed jobs.

It doesn't matter if she didn't actually factually win. It's more important for her to be morally correct rather than actually correct.
I'm still trying to figure this one out. I don't know how you can be morally correct if you are factually wrong. But she's a bartender so she's gotta be right.
