I din’t like Anything about AOC , nor do I believe that the EC is fair and useful going forward. We need a majority rules system.

...and it is for this reason that States should be prohibited from a "winner take-all" electoral dispersement, rather each elector is selected by the vote in each house-district represented in each state and the (2) at large electors by winner of the state popular vote.

The only change to the EC system would be to make it so states can't award all of their electoral votes to the popular majority winner in their state. Ca does this and so does a number of others. With as many EC votes as CA has, it swings it too far in one direction (in CA example, it goes left). They should award EC votes based upon the percentage of popular votes a candidate receives. For the 2016 election, DT still beats out HC in this case 259.4 to 250.8. Total EC votes is 538
