I wouldn't own a EV just based on how you have to charge them. I don't see the advantage of sitting there in Target parking lot wasting an hour of my life to charge a fricking car. I laugh every time I drive by them I love what Elon is doing for America but I'll never own an EV. Now if he created a Cell phone that can get me away from libtard companies like Apple and Android I'd seriously look into that.

Sorry you are misinformed. Unless you frequently road trip them charging presents zero issues to Tesla owners. Simply plug it in before bed and unplug in the morning. Even on road trips, the charging stops are no more than 30 mins

I fill up with gas in like 5 minutes tops and I'm gone. And I don't run my electricity bill up at my house. So no thank you. Plus they cost too much for basically a throw away car

they are pretty hot right now...i imagine insurance will get higher on them if they keep getting vandalized and torched
Just checked my policy. $176 a year with $500 dollar deductible for vandalism coverage.
I did have a nut job fly up behind me and start tailgating me like mad. He turned into a parking lot adjacent to traffic when we stopped at a light. He rolled his window down and started yelling at me. I guess he was smart enough to not get out of his car and come to my window to yell at me. I got something for that.
I dont like the added drama but WTF. It’s an American made car. It’s fun to drive and fast. If you have a place to charge it Id say go for it.

not right now but once things die down. My buddy got his vandalized by some crazy libs.
The new Y is a beautiful car, and it comes out next month. It's getting rave reviews from testers. much quieter, better suspension, more comfortable seats and more head room in the back seat.

People do love the Model Y.
I read today that the USAID cuts are completed. Not sure how much of the spotlight Elon/ DOGE will have going forward.
Not sure if DOGE is going to be involved with gutting FEMA, which is just getting started.

EVs aren’t practical if you take road trips over long distances. I have friends in Colorado that I go visit sometimes. Not about to hunt for charging stations all across the countryside, that’s silly.

Imagine having to evacuate in an EV. Perfectly fine for a 2nd vehicle though.

This is what I was talking about on page 1.
I get that this is your opinion, but it’s just so factually ridiculous it’s clear you have never driven a Tesla, taken a trip in a Tesla, charged a Tesla, or talked to anyone who charges at home with their Tesla. It’s just bizarre to have such strong opinions on something with no knowledge
