Anyone else think it’s funny how Vivek Ramaswamy completely disappeared?

Dude really showed up on Christmas to call Americans lazy and idiots, and completely disappeared off the earth. Guess he realized he probably destroyed his political career with that stupid arse tweet

Nah, he will be fine
Posted on 1/14/25 at 9:55 am to CarolinaGamecock99
He pissed a lot of people off, even those who don't work in tech jobs being replaced by H1Bs.
It's OK though because a lot of Con Inc is still spreading the pro H1B message sadly. Christopher Rufo is on X right now telling those who have been replaced by Indians tough shite, deal with it, stop whining - Chipotle is hiring managers for 70k go work there prole.

Posted on 1/14/25 at 9:57 am to CarolinaGamecock99
Nope.
There are a lot of white people and a LOT of poor white people in this country.
People forget that, but the poor white folks dont.

Posted on 1/14/25 at 9:58 am to CarolinaGamecock99
He probably went off to go start a scam call center

I think he is 100% right but I thought it was in poor taste.

I am a huge Vivek fan and he pissed me off so much with that tweet. What a moron, what bad timing. It will take quite a lot to win me back and I was an ardent supporter of his.

He actually might be done. He did a lot of damage with the wrong group...
And we dont import Indians like the UK does so they will not have a majority ever here.
Mexican Catholics are the future.

Dude.... He's in his basement doing research and stuff. He's a brainiac. Leave him be and watch him work after the 20th. Beast Mode is coming.

He will wait 6 weeks then emerge. Six weeks is the memory span for 95% of American citizens.

Can someone give me a quote of what he said, not a summarization. I must have been busy on the day this was news.

The reason top tech companies often hire foreign-born & first-generation engineers over “native” Americans isn’t because of an innate American IQ deficit (a lazy & wrong explanation). A key part of it comes down to the c-word: culture. Tough questions demand tough answers & if we’re really serious about fixing the problem, we have to confront the TRUTH:
Our American culture has venerated mediocrity over excellence for way too long (at least since the 90s and likely longer). That doesn’t start in college, it starts YOUNG.
A culture that celebrates the prom queen over the math olympiad champ, or the jock over the valedictorian, will not produce the best engineers.
A culture that venerates Cory from “Boy Meets World,” or Zach & Slater over Screech in “Saved by the Bell,” or ‘Stefan’ over Steve Urkel in “Family Matters,” will not produce the best engineers.
(Fact: I know *multiple* sets of immigrant parents in the 90s who actively limited how much their kids could watch those TV shows precisely because they promoted mediocrity…and their kids went on to become wildly successful STEM graduates).
More movies like Whiplash, fewer reruns of “Friends.” More math tutoring, fewer sleepovers. More weekend science competitions, fewer Saturday morning cartoons. More books, less TV. More creating, less “chillin.” More extracurriculars, less “hanging out at the mall.”
Most normal American parents look skeptically at “those kinds of parents.” More normal American kids view such “those kinds of kids” with scorn. If you grow up aspiring to normalcy, normalcy is what you will achieve.
Now close your eyes & visualize which families you knew in the 90s (or even now) who raise their kids according to one model versus the other. Be brutally honest.
“Normalcy” doesn’t cut it in a hyper-competitive global market for technical talent. And if we pretend like it does, we’ll have our asses handed to us by China.
This can be our Sputnik moment. We’ve awaken from slumber before & we can do it again. Trump’s election hopefully marks the beginning of a new golden era in America, but only if our culture fully wakes up. A culture that once again prioritizes achievement over normalcy; excellence over mediocrity; nerdiness over conformity; hard work over laziness.
That’s the work we have cut out for us, rather than wallowing in victimhood & just wishing (or legislating) alternative hiring practices into existence. I’m confident we can do it.

I've always been in the "be careful with him, as he's a grifter" camp, so glad to see him checked and forced back. I'm sure it won't be for long, but hope it was a legit learning experience. He came out of nowhere and dropped a ton of money to get himself in a better position. More power to him, but at the same time don't trust him. Especially enough to understand the "he's a future president" camp. That's odd to me. Musk showed he needs to be watched too with his response at the same time.
Unfortunately for Vivek, he doesn't have the "f-u money and position" like Musk. Vivek needed to be checked, and lets see how he handles this.
Obviously we don't agree on our H1B stance, so I am a bit concerned he is so close to Vance. Especially adding in his wife's family. I don't care where your heritage is from, but if you are an American you must think what's best for this nation, not the nation or the people of your heritage.
Any American First believer, should push hard for the whole immigration system abuse as a whole top bottom to be fixed. From what the Dems have done with low skilled immigrants, to H1B and high skilled, as well as, the asylum/refugee system. No reason for entire cities from Minneapolis (Somalis) to TX cities (Indians) to Aurora, CO with Venezuelans, etc etc. to be taken over in such a short period of time.
Fix the problem. Stop brushing it under the rug and destroying the fabric of this nation by giving up on Americans. It's a hard fix sure. Both social and financial repairs need to be made. Just get it done and lets make our forefathers proud .

Should he not be working on DOGE?
If Vivek was vocal: “He should be quiet & focus on DOGE!!!”
If Vivek is quiet: “He got put in his place lol @ him”
Idiots

“native” Americans
When I first read it and saw this, I know it was going to get bad as I read further. It was mix of snark, and first-gen inferiority complexed way of saying it. We all know what lower case native means, versus uppercase, so no need for the quotation marks.
