Bro, JBE is the political twin of Edwin Edwards with some Huey Long thrown in.
JBE is the throwback to the worst kind of politician that Louisiana has suffered for decades under and he has to be voted out next year.
Louisiana is the only southern state that lost population and GDP last year. The brain drain is real and we need honest and competent leader to help stop it and get government the frick out of the way.

Never again try to call yourself a conservative if you voted for Honor Code.
The fact that grown men actually give a frick if some politician cheated on his wife is amazing to me.

Nobody is staying here after college. Houston and Dallas must be 50% Louisianians by now. Anybody with opportunities is fleeing the state, and I do not blame them.

Exactly. People want a conservative politician, not a choir boy. It's why Our President won.

I don't care about it even if they preached abstinence, bashed the gays, or talked about God so much.
Unless you abused tax dollars to pay for it or committed some other crime with it, I don't give a frick.
Just keep my taxes low, stop attacking the private sector who provides employment with bullshite red tape, get government the frick out of the way and leave me alone.

[quote] And yet while that's happening, JBE is kicking the people of this state down even more by attacking oil and gas with lawsuits, taxes and red tape out the arse by his cabinet. Jindal did no such thing as Governor and VItter would not have done either as they got out the way of the largest provider of private employment in this state and yet you still voted for the fraud who is doing the opposite of that [quote]

Hypothetical question.
If a relatively unknown, young, anti establishment, true conservative running for Governor in La were to lose to JBE would you complain that he was a bad candidate that shouldn’t have won the GOP primary? Or would still support your vote for him. Given he was a much better choice to actually accomplish conservative goals/uphold principles across the board than a Landry or Angelle type.
The caveat is that a Landry or Angelle would beat JBE hands down.

What gave that away?
The JD from UVA or the Oxford degree?
Who the hell cares what his book smarts may be if he’s well known for giving dumbass responses...it’s embarrassing and plays into our state being redneck idiots

Much more important things to hate going on.
Take your Shiney hook elsewhere.

Of course I would vote for him with no problems at all and will defend it as much as I can.
That's a hell of a lot different that morons that call themselves conservative doubling down on their vote for an obvious tax and spend liberal democrat.
But the thing here is that you cannot let good be the enemy of perfect as that's a good way to lose an election. Best recent example of that is West Virginia getting rid of that clown Don Blankenship who would've been a very easy out for Joe Manchin.

Actually Jeff Landry was a part of the tea party when he was in Congress and would be a member of the freedom caucus today.
In fact, he's currently leading a super PAC to get rid of the RINOs in the state senate and putting legit conservatives in there.
Now Angelle? Ha, that sleazy fricker is about as democrat as JBE and Alario is. Not a single fiscally conservative bone in his body. There's a reason why Vitter still beat his arse.

Sad thing is, the dude is probably one of the smartest people in the state.
John Kennedy is a Pay for Play POS Politician, nothing more.
He has sold his political soul so many times he wouldn't know where to go to get it back.

Dude is a RINO in every meaning of the word, as is Cassidy. Our Senators are an absolute joke. Outside of Cajun John Wayne, Louisiana’s congressional delegation is really solid, however.

Not my first choice but he won.
I’d rather have Vitter in the Senate and that goofy bastard doing commercials for unclaimed property, but it is what it is.

Sometimes I wonder if we know each other.
Certainly have the same views on the Gov campaign and some overlapping info on those involved. I think I despise Angelle more than any of them followed by Dardenne and then JBL.

I’m sure you’re not alone, but I was incredibly happy about the vote. I know it isn’t really popular with some of you nuts here, but it took a lot of guts to vote his heart. In the end, a GOP senator that isn’t afraid to constantly tow the party line is an asset.
I emailed him and told him I appreciated his stance on the issue. NN is a lose-lose for the republicans in the mid-terms anyway.

On policy yes, but charisma, hell no. Not even in the same universe. But I think you meant policy, tax and spend, socialist, etc.

Net neutrality only helps big tech and telecom companies, and hurts innovation. The internet was its most innovative in the last two decades pre NN, why exactly was it needed?

If your pro net neutrality you are my enemy. He will never get my vote now.
