Anybody see Martha MacCallum last night?

I usually like her but I was very disappointed with the condescension and borderline hostility she showed this man last night. He is running for governor in Mississippi and a female reporter wanted to ride along with him and shadow him for a 15-16 hr campaign day and he refused her because he --like Pence--- has promised his wife not to be alone with any women. SMART in today's me-too world if you ask me. She got a LOT of negative feedback on twitter and she's going to debate the issue with two women tonight. (one is Jessica Tarlov whom I can't stand)
Here's video of the interview

If you spend time with a woman you get accused of rape
If you dont then you are sexist.
Cant win these days.

I saw that and felt the same way. She was way too hard on ol baw. Very condescending.
Martha is New Yorker and just doesn’t understand the South.

I forgot to add, I’d let that reporter ride with me.
She was pretty hot.

She's such a smarmy and insufferable feminazi
She will 100% say that this incident disqualifies this guy for office.
I started a thread about this and still stand by my theory that this is the true intention of the metoo movement - to put men in a no win situation when it comes to dealing with women

she is a super never trumper and is all in on supporting the deep state.
she has her moments but she is much like megyn kelly so most likely she doesnt like how the #metoo shite is being exposed here

It's frustrating to have these people claim that men can't have an opinion on abortion because they're not women, but they can have an opinion on if/how a man protects himself against a potential sexual impropriety allegation.
It's easy for these hags to sit back and throw stones at men when they'll never know what it's like to be guilty BECAUSE accused and have your life and career ruined just because some woman wants to. It's especially egregious given the fact that many of these women who falsely accuse men face no repercussions.

Yep that was the first time she got under my skin. If the dude's wife don't want him to be alone with another women, frick what the rest of the world thinks. The Bible says to avoid all appearance of evil.
I don't trust a single member of the MSM. She could set that guy up.

I don’t get what’s so hard to understand. People are allowed to live their lives and raise their families how they see fit. The guy even said his wife made the same vow, to not be alone with another man. The reporter decided not to work something out with him and made a mountain out of a molehill. Typical media hack job except this one might backfire and make this guy more popular in Mississippi

You just have to look at it as nothing more than the power grab that it is. These women want to have the ability to control men no matter the situation.
His requests and rationale were reasonable, thought out, and were held with great conviction. For them to rebuke him for keeping a vow he made to his wife just shows you how far they're willing to go to ensure their power is consolidated.

I thought her condescension was quite unprofessional.
The "office open door" policy was cited, and dismissed. The "risk of misunderstanding/trouble" in a car on rural roads through Mississippi is WAY worse than in an office setting.
Would Martha MacCallum meet a male for an interview, alone, in a hotel room? If yes, she is not as smart as I thought she was.

She's never struck me as a Never-Trumper, and I don't always agree with her but I've always liked her and her persona. Last night I did not.

Screw Martha on this one. She kept bringing out the "she's a professional" line which is a totally bogus argument. Professionals get caught all the time fricking around. Men get caught banging secretaries all the time. That was a "professional" situation too.
Men in power make women's panties wet. This is a fact of biology. There's no rule that says a "professional" journalist won't frick a political candidate. Hell, I've seen ministers get themselves in trouble counseling women. If you're smart you won't counsel women without someone else there.
Besides, this journalist is pretty hot so this guy doesn't even want to deal with the temptation. He obviously will not comment on her hotness on national TV, but I guarantee that was one of his considerations.

Did not watch. Saw the link video just now, Didn't have a big problem with her probing questions. Think he did a piss poor job of stating his position. #metoo would have shut her down.

One thing I noticed is that he kept the focus on HIS and his wife's decision to not be alone with a person of the opposite sex, so as not to insinuate that the reporter couldn't be trusted and might make a false accusation. I think Martha wanted to push him into saying it was a danger in the me-too world of a false accusation and then she would've really ripped into him for suggesting that the "professional" reporter wasn't trustworthy

Was typing at the same time and didn't see your comment first--I disagree. I think she would've defended the fellow female's integrity if he'd done that.

This broad was a "professional" as well
