I'm for letting adults decide if they want to wear a mask or not. Show the public the risks of cv19 like you would cigarettes or overeating and let the people make their own choice. If you are pro-mask and see someone not wearing a mask go about your business instead of trying to publically ridicule them.

you are just being intentionally obtuse and ignoring the part where it said CO2 was not the priority.

I'm not sure that you know what obtuse means.

Hell... I'm not even sure if you know what you've posted in this thread in reply.

Because that isn’t their end goal. Houston about to be shut down again for 2 weeks, yet everyone and their friggin dog are wearing masks

You are still ignoring the point made and trying to focus my post on CO2 which was not the focus.

Go ahead and quote your point.

Or better yet, rephrase it. Because it lacked impact the first time.

I wear mine because I could see the elderly people that walked by in the grocery store being fearful. It’s not a big deal to me to give them a little reassurance and it’s also makes me feel as if I have a little bit of protection. I acknowledge these are all feelings and no science, but I don’t mind it. This too shall pass.

I don’t get the fight against masks

That is your problem right there! You actually think the fight is about Masks.

In short, the fight is about forcing us to do something that is not guaranteed to work. And then blaming citizens for not wearing mask and say that is why the cases are going up.

If you actually think the cases are going up because some people are not wearing mask.... You my friend need to rethink you political beliefs

The mask thing doesn't bother me.

I work in healthcare; coronavirus is real. It isn't the global apocalypse, but it isn't a hoax either.

I want the country to open back up, and asking citizens to take simple, reasonable safeguards isn't a horrible stance. Masks don't offer 100% protection, but they do help some. And more importantly, wearing one seems to be tied to opening up a bit, so I'm in favor if it lets things open more.

I don't mind using a mask around people I don't know in an environment that I can't Social distance from in fact in the flue and cold season going forward they should just make them mandatory.

I'm pro common sense. I'll wear a mask if I go in a store. I'm not wearing a mask if I'm outside and not close to people.

If it was the way to get us there then they’d tell us if we wear masks everything gets opened 100%. If they don’t tell us that then frick them.

its just a way for liberals to find out how to tax even more. Tell the lemmings that cases are on the rise and move the goal post over to that being tied to opening or closing economy. Then soon we start proposing Covid taxes to make the virus go away. Just like taxes to fight global warming

This has been true since the beginning of civilization. Regardless of issue.
