Seen them a few times including a couple weeks back in atlanta. Very disappointed in this. They keep politics out of their shows thankfully. I am of the mindset that entertainers are paid by me to perform. Therefore, when i've paid money to go to your show, do not proceed to force your politics down my throat or you as an artist lost a customer. Thought he was smarter than that.

It's odd that people think the economy is so much worse solely because the person in office changed, but because of economics itself. It's also odd that people think that the economy was so much worse because of the very same change in office.

For the most part, rock and roll has just about always been about sex, drugs, political activism, and anti establishment. And you are surprised by Grohl’s statement? How old are you?

I hope this works out for them the same way it worked out for the Dixie Chicks.

Doubt it. It’s all about your audience. Dixie Chicks were country. VAST majority of country fans are conservatives. Kanye West says “George Bush doesn’t like black people”. Do you think it hurt his sales? No. Cause his audience agreed with him. If billy joe bob the country singer said “trump sucks” he’s done. If he said “Obama sucks” his sales will increase.

There might be some slight differences in which way Foo Fighters audiences lean, politically, vs the Dixie Chicks.

Some songs are catching but mostly they got good because of the Nirvana angle and the wacky music videos

Dixie chicks got wasted for their comments. Country music fans can be unforgiving.

Thats one way to put it. Another way would be to say that country conservatives are so fricking stupid that they bulldozed shite that they paid for, in order to support a shitty president in his efforts to start a criminal war that killed over 500k people and bled this country dry.

They should be welcoming the Dixie Chicks back with open arms and begging for their forgiveness.

Eagles of Death Metal front man Jesse Hughes is a Trump supporter and Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme describes himself as governmentally conservative but socially liberal.

Almost all was previously purchased shite.

Not like they all bought stuff to bulldoze.
