Actually, those who spank past the age of four are shown to have poorer parenting skills. That’s a fact . Educate yourself folks. As someone said, it is low rent parenting

Kids are the only class of people you can legally hit and get away with by saying "oh it's just a punishment". Go on try that with your spouse and see how well that holds up in court

I have my first child and I can tell you. If you dont spank them, they do whever the frick they want. They will walk off from you at the store like a dog running away from home. They dont understand what can happen if they fall into the wrong hands. Plus children get scared easy. If you are their rock they arent afraid of shite because daddy will take care of it.

Abuse and discipline are not the same.
People need to stop confusing spanking with abuse. I don't know any parents who spank a kid because they lack smacking their kid. It's to stop that kid from doing something and enforcing that strictly. I knew when I got my arse whipped, that what I had done was very serious. I didn't do it again, knowing that it was well above what was allowed in my household.
