ANTARCTICA BREAKS *MULTIPLE* ALL-TIME LOW TEMPERATURE RECORDS ... Data Confirms It!!

Temperatures at the bottom of the world have routinely broken all-time records in recent times.
Antarctica endured its coldest-ever ‘coreless winter’ (April-Sept) in 2021, then shivered through practically all of 2022, posting colder-than-average month after colder-than-average month, including the coldest November since 1987 and the latest -60C (-76F) on record — with the year culminating in the South Pole Station averaging just -49.5C (-51.7F); -0.4C below the norm.
The historic chill has spilled into 2023, too.
There is far more at play when it comes to Antarctic sea ice cover than merely temperature. A low solar activity-induced meridional jet stream flow is one forcing playing havoc down there, impacting ocean currents and wind patterns; while an uptick in volcanic activity, including the record-high mesospheric Hunga Tonga eruption, is another probable mechanism.
The climate system is not a simple one, nor is it a well understood one — don’t let anyone fool you otherwise, there is still much up for debate.

Is this you saying you really don’t know what you’re posting about climate, you just found an article about cold weather and so decided to post it while the rest of are sweating our nuts off?

Its been a cold summer here. Coldest I can remember.
Heat domes are a bitch. We had one during the last el nino.
But that means somewhere else will be cooler.

Voila'! We will just call it climate change! Brilliant!

Solar activity holds the key to Earth’s climate.
Magnificent FACT!!

ice core samples from there are still just as cold as thousands of years ago.

That's the oscillation effect we see with the climate, it ebbs and flows depending on low pressure systems and high pressure ridging. One can look at the CPC outlook for above/below normal temps for the US for example and almost always the West and East will be divergent and when one it slated to be above average, the other side is usually slated to be below average.
Sometimes this stays locked in for a while as well. Some of you here bitching about the heat surely realize that when a Summertime high pressure ridge gets entrenched, it can get and remain sizzling hot WITHOUT it being related to ANY climate anomalies. As a kid, I recall in the 1981 timeframe, it was between 103-107 for a couple of weeks day in and day out. This was 40+ years ago when it randomly happened in the SUMMER. How does that correlate to global warming or climate change randomly being 40 years ago...point is that weather events are non-sequitur.

1980 was the worst I can remember. Over 100 every day, no rain for months, NW La.
That just means somewhere else, it was cooler than normal.
