The U.S. government has never and would never kill someone they deem disposable.

This post got him suicided 2 years after he published it?

Forgive me if I reject your premise based on what you've presented itt.

So you believe he shut up about the war after he posted those words on social media? That's unlikely.

Not necessarily. I would just need more evidence than that one post to make me assume this dramatic actor didn't take his own life.

Remember Deborah Jeane Palfrey, a woman better known as the “DC Madam.”? That the Federal judge, at the time, Merrick Garland protected the "Johns", except for David Vitter. They had to sacrifice one to the mob.

Well, she was "unalived" before she could point any fingers at any number of our powerful ruling "elite" in DC.

Then there is Epstein. Same thing.

I could go on and on but hopefully you get the point.

So why the fascination with the deadly political intrigue that goes on in Russia?

Are we any better morally, or better at pointing fingers at others?

What is your deal with bringing these to our attention?

Going to make any of us change our opinion of Putin, good or bad?

If you had bothered to read the quote in the OP you'd know what he did. He publicly opposed the military invasion of Ukraine.

Of course I get the point.

You want to play "whataboutisms" in order to justify what Putin has done.

I don't play that game. Not when what Vladimir has done has already cost casualties of over 1,500,000 civilians and military personnel from both sides with more everyday.

I never thought I'd see the day where professed patriots and conservatives on this board would praise and openly admire a murderous dictator.

As someone on the O-T would put it, "It's mind bottling."

Careful what you wish for, sometimes the enemy you know is better than the unknown.

The power vacuum that would be left after Putin was killed would likely be filled by someone much more savage than Putin.

Thats how we got Kim Jong Un, his father wasn't near the tyrant Kim 2 has been.

Since the Ukraine war started there has been over a dozen Russian critics of Putin who have "mysteriously" committed suicide by jumping out a high window.

But you can believe whatever you want to believe...

Un's father was not killed or deposed.

What is your evidence of that?

That's why I say let the Russians handle it. If they can recognize the damage Putin is doing to their country, there's hope his successor would lean the other way.

fair enough, although the prospect of Putin’s aggression resulting in Russia annexing the disputed pro-Russian provinces is somewhat less concerning than an unstable nuclear power in chaos as various factions fight for control in the wake of Putin’s removal from power - plus i don’t discount the distinct possibility that his replacement could be even worse

pretty much what we appear to be doing now, with little success

how much longer should we continue on this course? and at what point do you think it would be acceptable to commit to boots on the ground and “helping” the Russians overthrow Putin?
