ANOTHER ONE: 133-Year-Old Church in Grand Rapids Burns Down

A historic church in Grand Rapids, Michigan, burned down late Wednesday evening.
Firefighters arrived to scene at around 11 pm on Wednesday night and spent hours trying to put out the blaze.
The roof of LaGrave Avenue Christian Reformed Church collapsed in the blaze.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
The 133-year-old church that burned down is less than two miles away from the massive Islamic Center of Grand Rapids.
This church in Grand Rapids is the latest historic church to burn down.
Several Christian churches in New York have burned down in the last year.

Grand Rapids has gotten really lefty and lots of muzzies have moved in. Cool little city though. I was there on business a year ago and the downtown was cool. A few too many homeless whackos then there should be there tho.

The building that burned was a closed/abandoned Seventh Day Adventist church building. The LaGrave Ave Christian Reform Church was in a building nearby and was undamaged.
From other reports, ths CRC did not use that building.

The building that burned was a historic building. It’s clear that the building they use was built well after that.

Argue all you want about this one. The one upon which the Texas "hate crime" law was based was a black church burned by a black kid.

The church using it probably just rents out the building they use. The Seventh Day bunch that founded that church is long gone.
