In any other admin this would be unspeakable corruption. Obviously.
But also…..
Your post disproves corruption. The people investing the most don't seem to be getting any favors. They seem extremely disappointed, in fact. It's basically paying to meet a celebrity, nothing more.

Before judgment is passed down on this one, please expound on what all entails “always” in this context.
I frequently point out that I think Trump is the best president of my lifetime. I'm always clear in why I support Trump.
Unlike our many lawyer/Presidents, Trump is a man of action. He's easily the most responsive president we have had.
I have praised Trump for (partial list):
-spectacular Cabinet picks: Kennedy, Gabbard, and Hegseth in particular (Rubio and Bessent have grown on me)
-closing the border
-destroying USAID as the principal trough for Leftists
-cracking down on wokeism
-focusing on the Western Hemisphere
-reducing aid to Ukraine
-re-evaluating our NATO ties
-giving the Christian Worldview more of a chance against the dominant Secular Worldview that has plagued us since the 1920s

It was as wrong then as it is now.
Sorta related, on our wall we have a porcelain advertisement featuring a product endorsement from Cleveland's wife. It was a SCANDAL back in the day. I am reminded of it often when Trump openly endorses companies/products.

I guess I just don’t understand what you’re trying to accomplish or demonstrate by dedicating the majority of your time here on highlighting claims that would basically nullify or negate those good things you listed, when it appears the list of negatives is small in comparison to your list of positives. Not to mention, all you’ve submitted is a bare naked allegation of “grifting.” I just don’t understand the wisdom in your approach.
Surely this isn’t simply your approach to life, period, for example giving a relatively minimal mention of a family member or your spouse’s strong points, yet much more strenuously tell others of a lesser number of her worst faults (not to mention, leaving the nastier claims with hardly any detailed explanation).

On the face of it, you were suggesting that SFP would look like a fool if he pointed out how indictments don't necessarily indicate guilt...presumably because of how strong the evidence was against David Hearn.
Turns out that the evidence was NONEXISTENT.

No wonder people don't engage with you much. You are being obtuse.
Did you think people were paying Hunter Biden so much money for his paintings were doing so because of artistic merit? It's true that no one testified that they were paying exorbitant sums as a means of gaining access to President Biden. Every adult with more brain power than SDV infered that Hunter was grifting.
The same is true in this case. The Trump meme coin is objectively a bad financial investment. If you want a favor from the President, however the meme coin is a good investment.
As for the rest of your criticism, I don't post to get accolades or to influence people. I think the only cause I have advocated for is Classical Christian Education. I haven't endorsed voting for any particular candidate.
Anyhow, thanks for the discussion. Cheers

THIS is what I had hoped to find! A principled response: of course it's grifting, but Trump being president is worth our tolerance of it.
It mirrors my thoughts on Trump. He is a malignant narcissist bent on self-enrichment even while in office. His positive qualities and policies, however, still make me glad he is president
Thanks Tech!

We knew it was wrong for the Bidens. Shouldn't we acknowledge that it's bad for the Trumps?
Or is selling access to public office only wrong when Democrats do it?
That's the thing.
If Biden had done the specific things Trump has done this term this board would have exploded.
And the Cult knows it.

This was the best insight of that post. It's amazing to watch. Trump just makes up things on the spot because they make better stories.

Amen. I shouldn't try to reason with them. They are impervious to logic if it seems to be an attack on Daddy.

I mean, I don’t know about a ton, but yeah I get your point and yes he’s certainly guilty of making bad decisions and saying and doing stupid shite, just like anyone else. Problem with some of these folks around chia is 1) they think you’re supposed to prove your willingness to criticize, many many times a day (lol), and even more irrational than the first thing is that not only must you prove it multiple times per day, it must mirror the same exact “criticisms” as theirs (again, lol). Yes, presumably grown arse people we’re talking about here.

You ever notice how Trump hasn’t and apparently won’t directly address the questions and curiosities that these Trump opponents parrot incessantly, literally nonstop? Seems like that would help in some way, right? Wrong. He’s astute enough to know time is a commodity he can’t afford to waste on people who don’t actually have the capacity or ability to understand anyway. Plus, even if they could, they clearly wouldn’t be in good faith. Thus, either way - total waste of precious time. lol
You could have just said “The Grifter in Chief” and saved everybody a lot of time.

I ain’t gonna be joining y’all in this embarrassment fest. The only thing he’s grifted is some folks’ self-respect. And hell that was by accident.
