ABC News: Trump Meme Coin Gala

Trump to host another gala with investors in his meme coin
By Lucien Bruggeman
October 1, 2026, 5:27 PM
President Donald Trump will once again meet with the top investors in his namesake meme coin in November -- the third such gathering since his return to office -- in what critics call yet another example of the president attempting to profit from his position.
A notice on the $TRUMP coin website announced this week that the president and three yet-to-be-announced VIPs would attend an "exclusive" dinner with 185 of the coin's top investors at the Trump National Golf Club in Northern Virginia on Nov. 22.
Trump earned over $1.4 billion from crypto ventures in 2025, financial disclosure shows.
The website said the top 29 investors would be "INVITED to a VIP reception with your favorite President."
Critics have slammed these events as brazen pay-for-play schemes. Financial disclosures show Trump generated some $635 million from these so-called "Celebration Coins" in 2025, a sizable portion of the $1.4 billion he made from his overall crypto portfolio.
Trump launched his meme coin -- a type of digital currency that's often based on an internet meme -- in January 2025, just days before his inauguration.
The coin's value initially soared to more than $44 before plummeting almost immediately. The coin's value now hovers around $2, meaning an investor who purchased $10,000 worth of Trump coins at its peak would currently be holding an asset worth less than $700.
Trump and the White House have repeatedly and forcefully denied that his private business interests create a conflict of interest.

You ever notice how Trump hasn’t and apparently won’t directly address the questions and curiosities that these Trump opponents parrot incessantly, literally nonstop? Seems like that would help in some way, right? Wrong. He’s astute enough to know time is a commodity he can’t afford to waste on people who don’t actually have the capacity or ability to understand anyway. Plus, even if they could, they clearly wouldn’t be in good faith. Thus, either way - total waste of precious time. lol

Davy word salad is here to let us all know he will never ever stray from daddy’s side. Even when he is grifting.

Scott Bessent, the man running the US Treasury stood in front of a room in Dallas on September 10 and said five words that should have ended his career: "I am the house now."
He was not joking. He tripled the government's bond buyback program the same week. The next day, the DOJ publicly thanked Tether for helping freeze $52 million in criminal funds. Two weeks before that, his Treasury Department deleted the only federal database tracking who owns shell companies in America, and then published the rules that will govern stablecoins forever.
All of that happened in thirty-one days.
In Part I, I showed you how Bessent spent forty years breaking currencies and then took the keys to ours. In Part II, I showed you how Lutnick's family built the custody operation with a Tether loan. In Part III, I traced Tether to Epstein's crypto network and documented the empire they are building with the profits.
This is Part IV. This is what it looks like when all of it runs at the same time, and there is a clock on it. The GENIUS Act comment period closes October 19. That is three weeks from now. After that, the rules governing stablecoins in America get finalized by the man who profits from their growth, and the company those rules will govern just hired the man who wrote the law to be its CEO.

I always appreciate a good joke, such as the one you made in predicting how the Judge Winebox prosecution of the Reflecting Pool "Vandal!" would go.
Are you EVER right in predicting anything? Did you see where the Vandal case was dismissed with prejudice today?

What's hard to understand?
President Trump is leveraging access to the presidency to literally bank BILLIONS of dollars for himself, family, and friends.
I think his policies have been great. He is easily the most corrupt president we've had since Warren G. Harding. Both things can be true.

I find myself in the position of that investor. I STILL would vote for Trump because his policies have been so good.
There's nothing that can be done to stop the President's shameless grifting. People should at least acknowledge that it's a REALLY bad practice for the country though.

I can't resist what? Do y'all really not think that someone can be thankful for President Trump’s policies AND appalled at Trump's obvious grifting at the same time.
We knew it was wrong for the Bidens. Shouldn't we acknowledge that it's bad for the Trumps?
Or is selling access to public office only wrong when Democrats do it?

You rage post about the man all day every day, your hate for him has consumed your life.
Let’s be honest and just get the bullshite out of the way, ok? You’ve fallen victim to propaganda like many others on this website because you’re weak minded. It’s just so pathetic to watch this happen, and it’s the reason this country will fall
