Could you define “Russian puppet” because it appears to be anyone who doesn’t absolutely believe that Ukraine will defeat Russia. That’s called a realist, not a puppet. If Orban is a “puppet” for keeping cheap energy coming to his country and not allowing mass immigration which are both good for Hungarians while also not throwing money down a hole in Ukraine, it seems like the rest of Europe needs more Orbans. I guess Germany, Estonia, Poland, and Finland are US puppets per your thin logic.

Germany committed economic suicide for virtue signaling or something. They should have kept rolling with cheap Russian energy.

Or, you can stop pretending youre not literally carrying a vapid, trite argument based on nothing but American propaganda.

Between Russia is evil and America is at fault, theres a lot of ground. But I vote here, not in Russia.

The ease at which you accept really poor propaganda is getting frightening.

When you understand what's actually being discussed.

Nobody called any Americans or Orban a Russian puppet, ITT.

The only person called a "Russian puppet" ITT is Viktor Fedorovych Yanukovych, who is literally a puppet of Russia/Putin

We have had a bunch of those lately.

I suspect thats were money to import these immigrants is hidden. Payoffs to non profits.

What if I told you “who cares?”. It’s Hungary’s business and not for the US to be concerned. I don’t care about what happens in Europe or Russia as long as it doesn’t affect the US and it hasn’t. We need to mind our own business.

I care because Hungary is the only nation blocking the EU from using the 270 billion USD worth of seized Russian assets to help Ukraine. If the EU could use those assets then the US would be getting paid back for the aid we have given Ukraine.

Which will be a wasted 270 billion. We are in 2016 of WWI again. Just a meatgrinder.

We all know what Ukraine needs is bodies.

Better than just sitting in a frozen bank account or given back to Russian oligarchs who stole it from the Russian people.

I'm assuming that you meant 1916.

Which is why Ukraine lowered its conscription age and expanded the number of people that can be conscripted this past week. That is also why France, Poland, and other european countries are sending troops to into Ukraine to train their soldiers and free up units to move from the west to the east to fight.

Saw that, I would be surprised if battle aged men will remain in Ukraine here on out.

Russia doesnt need the money as much as Ukraine needs men. I dont see how Ukraine pulls this thing off.

Russia can just dig on and hold on.

Military aged males are still not allowed to leave the country.

Dig in, train troops, keep striking Russian oil refineries and keep training engineers and converting T64s into mine clearing vehicles. A large reason why the counteroffensive failed is that the west forced Ukraine to launch it before it had the necessary equipment and engineers to clear the Russian obstacles.

Russia can just dig on and hold on.

But Russia is not doing that. They are launching daily assaults on next line of Ukrainian fortications and sustaining heavy casualties.

They will find a way.

What are they coming home to? Maybe I have lost the point, but Ukraine isnt going to displace Russia without a massive Influx of ground troops. Offensives are very deadly.

I dont see how Ukraine prevails without someone else providing soldiers.

I just dont see the point here with feeding this beast.

You've clearly never lived in Europe. The vast majority of Europeans hate the EU.

Unfortunately for them, the vast majority of their elected officials don't.
