Only Vivek is nerd/smart enough to have read all 1500 pages and give a report late this morning. Elon probably feed it through his brain in 5 minutes.

DC is not used to this. They are like spoiled rich kids. No one tells them what to do.

The hypocrisy and lack of principles of "populism" on full display isn't complicated.

y'all are terrible mind readers. I actually think this entire thing is hilarious.

This morning you had MAGA folks talking about how terrible she was, despite her and Trump's close relationship. Now they are cheering her on as if she's made some heroic decision. It's entertaining as hell.

Did that change in 2 hours?

Jeez.
She was voting yes because that was held over her head.

Do you know why she changed her mind?

She represents a different district now?

Apparently her first position was an assumption. After verification from her constituency from phone calls, emails and X DMs in a manner of 2 hours that assumption was proven wrong. So she changed her position to represent her constituency more accurately.

The person who posts a sincere stance and then pulls a 180 in 2 hours.

In what way can this paradigm not involve hypocrisy?

I just want them to answer one simple question... was she voting on behalf of her constitutents then or now? Which is it?

The same reason she supported it in the first place, apparently.

Apparently a majority of her district somehow got through the multiple layers of filter to communicate with their Rep, and she was able to speak with 5-figures of people in 2 hours.

Quite remarkable. Maybe Elon gave her some special tech to do it. I wonder if she got a multi-pass out of it.

Sorry your Mike Johnson CR is dying.

But I have faith. Mike and the Democrats will find a way to over spend. Don't worry.

I think they just don't like it and will try to minimize this aspect of "populism" and pretend like anyone who points it out is "upset"
