Mexicans didn't go from a propseous island paradise filled with American entertainment dollars to a commie hell hole virtually overnight.
This is the problem with most Latin countries, many have always been dirt poor and think that a revolution can help them better feed and clothe their famialies. The governments there have also been nearly as corrupt as anything found on the African continent.
These countries have very little natural resources and when a dictator comes in and steals all the counties money, it's hard not to want change. The Marxists were always great at marekting their ideas to poor counties, but were atrocious at actually implementing them (because they can't don't work).
I would assume Venezuelans would also be much like the Cubans, but who knows. They may have been to brainwashed by the Chavez regime.
Cubans were thrown in prison or killed. They were given $12 a month to live on. Those that are in America are basically all the ones who got out... Meaning they despise Castro and any form of left wing government. And they passed it down to through the generations.
Without the Cuban coalition in the south and Panhandle Riviera in the north, Florida would basically be California in terms of taxes and Gov't shottiness.

I'm not saying they voted for her but there are more Mexicans and Puerto Ricans than Cubans in Pinellas. It's a relatively smaller proportion of Hispanics in that county as well--closer to Jacksonville/Duval than Tampa/Hillsborough. In other words, it ain't Dade county.
Oh, and Ana Paulina Luna is of Mexican descent.
