I don’t think Trump ever had any intention of agreeing to this. He knew they would say no, he just wants to shift more of the blame on them

He proposed amnesty (but not really) knowing with 100% certainty that the Dems would immediately reject ANYTHING he offered.
Now he can tell them he offered an olive branch and they rejected it, so piss off.
