Sorry if Germans - not intending to invade Poland.

Consider this a win for animals all over the country.

For every abused puppy, abandoned kitten, or medically tested bunny, this is a win. No question.

A new law is growing in popularity across the country, and it's something everyone can agree on.

A number of United States jurisdictions have implemented an animal offenders registry, which will publicly reveal the names of known animal abusers in the area, similar to how sex offenders are registered.

Currently, Tennessee is the only state to have an animal offenders registry, but other cities like New York and Cook County, Illinois have them at a local level.

Have as many abortions as you like, but don't you dare abuse any kittens, puppies or harm any trees.

If that were the case, West Virginia would have implemented it years ago.

'Abuse' is an inexact term. But when you're talking about people who engaged in animal torture as kids, a lot of them grow up to be criminals (against humans).

This is why they get the shite kicked out of them in football.

People > animals

Put MrLarson in charge of all animal shelters in the US. I'll save us billions in the first quarter.

To my understanding, Halal is specific to a means of slaughter before it can be processed via a quick slice to the throat. Stunning is really common in civilized countries for this practice, like the US. Of course my understanding is limited, so if you have additional information I am curious.

People who are abusive to animals deserve to be labeled and registered as such.

Good. I recall seeing a program on serial killers and most had abused animals before they progressed to humans.

That's a generalization. I've known lots of people who are totally worthless POS. If given the choice of saving their life or the life of my dog, my dog is coming home with me.

Now if we can get access to a list of women who elected to have a medically-unnecessary abortion.

It's amazing to me how we treat animals with more dignity and respect than we do unborn human beings.

Perhaps, but a lot of times serial killers and other psychopaths start out by killing animals. However, my definition of animal abuse may be different from some PETA person's definition.

Probably a good idea if for no other reason than harming animals has an incredibly strong correlation with harming people later in life.

Never a bad thing to have these people on the legal radar
