Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

No. No. Don't do it.

All prisons should require inmates to work for their sustenance. You want to commit crimes and get locked up, you better be willing to farm, wash clothes, cook, clean, etc... No reason for taxpayers to sustain people that willingly put themselves there.

So we have to work and worry to provide for ourselves and them, while they don’t? That is bs.

“An idle mind is the devil’s workshop “. For many who choose the criminal way it was laziness or the inability to assume the responsibility to provide that put them in prison. Work is an integral aspect of any rehabilitation process. If the Supreme Court don’t see this they are not‘ supreme’.

So when the poster said jail exists not to seek revenge but to protect society from criminals, he actually meant jail exists to punish people for arbitrary amounts of time?

It is called a consequence.

Why do you want jail to be a country club?

Do you really love criminals that much?

You aren’t following the discussion. You’re just reacting emotionally.

By quoting a portion of it?

Are you sure that you are in education?

I bet Laken Riley wishes she could put in a hard day's work. And then, you know, go home SAFE AND SOUND to her family.

No. I’m not sure I’m in education. What line of work are you in?

You’d be hard pressed to find a man in those fields that doesn’t WANT to be there.

So is academic administration no longer a part of education?

Sure. Funny that you want to make up jobs for me to have so you can mock them but you’re too cowardly to say how you make money.

Working outside at Angola is a privilege received for good behavior going back to the Burl Cain days. Angola was one of the most violent prisons in America before he became the warden. He created a system that rewarded good behavior instead of being trapped in a concrete box for the rest of your life.

You didn’t answer.

As for me…

doing whatever I like.

In this case, noting that you have yet to answer.

This can't be explained to you. You dont have the capacity to understand.
