Wow...
You were right.

That is horrible, Cubs. So sorry you went through that.

Thanks. Definitely wasn’t how I imagined my first time but i guess everything happens for a reason.

After his beating though, I wonder what his recidivism rate was. I'm not being facetious. Perhaps his "victimization" led to an epiphany of sorts,
Twenty years later and I still can’t bring myself to google him. His first name is Hunter which is just so disturbing in hindsight.

From what she's said, I think she prefers the Vincentians. Who have pretty much all the social justice aspects of the Jesuits (maybe even a bit more), with only about half of the academic rigor.

We are parishioners at a Vincentian parish. Vincentians are known intellectual heavyweights who manage a global network of universities and specialize in the high-level formation of clergy. St. Vincent De Paul was highly educated but viewed education as a tool to serve the marginalized. Vincentians are famously down-to-earth. Maybe you aren’t familiar with the order?

I’m sorry that you were raped. Only a vile individual would do such a thing. Quite frankly, I see your brother’s actions as noble.

What makes him redeemable and someone else who committed a violent felony not?

I don’t think that your brother needed to be redeemed for that.

The criminal raped you.

Then again, I also think that there should be a national holiday for this guy:

I will say a prayer for your continued healing.

I don’t know who that is. What have I posted that you feel contradicts Catholic teaching? You seem to take issue with service, which is a pillar of Catholicism. Can you explain why you don’t approve of me calling myself Catholic?

They only stopped it because Victor Bussie and the communist unions in the state wanted a piece of the action.

Do these known intellectual heavyweights know it’s a sin to lie and refuse to repent?

Like your continued refusal to repent your lies about Trayvon martin and Sandra bland?

Its funny I've been reading up on them as I had never really known about them.

It looks like Vincent de Paul made up a whole story about his being kidnapped as a slave.

Even his own biographer doubted his story.

Even his defenders admit that it may have been a brilliant fraud.

A foundation built on lies.

Foundation of what? The religious order he founded 400 years ago? The foundation of the order has nothing to do with pirates or slaves. The Vincentians were founded to serve the poor and reform the clergy.

Go Google search him. Then tell me how much you love him

Not typing all that out, you like doing research.

Hes the one that blessed the gay ABC news anchor in that crazy wedding type service in New York.

I don't endorse any of that stuff. I'm curious why you seem to think I'm a bad Catholic.

Not a bad Catholic, just a misguided Catholic when it comes to certain issues. Ala Father James Martin.

Your service to the Church and the poor and the prisoners are totally commendable, but based on the things you talk about in here, I think you are OK with alot of the liberal stuff going on in the Church (and im not a traditionalist)

Denounce it then. The fact that you dont know who Father James Martin is tells me you dont pay attention to the state of the Church in the United States

I have denounced it.

I care about following Christ’s example, serving the poor, loving my neighbor, and examining my own conscience. I'm not as interested in following sensational controversies, condemning or posturing. Knowing the ins and outs of Fr. James Martin isn't going to help me get to heaven.
