Just got back from a foundation golf event. I didn’t see anyone drinking Bud Light and I heard more than once somebody say “get that man a Bud Light” if they left a putt short or mis hit it. This shite has legs.

Flight is better. Give it a shot.

I found the light beer kinda flavorless and I like the regular yeungling.

Been buying the flight for a while now. It was their michelob ultra equivalent.

I've been seeing the opposite.

Wednesday I visited a local bar for Trans story hour hosted by the local elementary school, and everybody had a Bud Light.

One guy tried to order a Corona, and he changed his mind after hearing reeeeeee.

Youre side is too weak to boycott. They made our side think all issues were life or death, while brainwashing your side to sit out and focus on you.

You lose.

I am betting the type of bar you go to is very different than the type of bar most of us go to.

This was at my local walmart yesterday. Was going to pick up some Flights but they were sold out. But there was LOTS of anheuser-busch product. So much so they are having to stack it on pallets in the main aisle; and they have rolled back the price on Bud.

And in the larger arena, it rivals Coca Cola changing their formula in 1985. The massive nationwide backlash saw Classic Coke back in stores a couple of months later.

Everyone knows that was cover for switching to HFCS instead of real sugar.

Bud Light was my beer when I was at LSU from 2003-2007 and while I never buy it for drinking at home it has always been my beer of choice when I go camping, which I do 4 or 5 times a year. My first camping trip of 2023 is next weekend and I will be buying Coors Banquet instead. Not a huge dent in the Bud Light market sure but I imagine there are more people like me out there.

I didn’t like the light either. I joked it was water. I don’t think I’ve seen the Flight. But if I do I’ll give it a shot.

Yeungling is a solid beer in its own right. But I do love a good ipa.

One guy did end up ordering a Bud Light, most likely just out of habit, and immediately everyone looked at him funny and someone asked him why he was ordering "tranny piss". The guy got embarrassed and changed his order to Miller and everyone laughed including the waitress.

Went to a huge crawfish cook-off today. Did not see a single Bud product. There were cases and cases sold of Miller Lite and a ton of craft beer. Somehow everyone just shifted over to different beer. On the way home I stopped off at the store and picked up some Hill Country Bock. The coolers are totally full of bud light and all of it was on sale. I think this movement has some sticking power. I never drank bud light but I loved their cheladas, sigh. Picked up michelada mix to make my own.

Yea their light taste like water.

If i were them I'd replace that lineup with the flight.

I picked up another 12 pack last night.

This boycott may have some real legs
Because unlike some other companies that went woke (Nike, Disney, NFL, NBA, etc)…there are a ton of similar alternatives to Bud Light (and most other AB products) that are readily available at the same places people previously bought their Bud Lights from. Consumers can boycott Bud Light without having to inconvenience themselves or give up something they enjoy

I would make the opposite argument. There are a LOT of people who’s lives don’t revolve around the news and social media; and have relatively small circles of people they interact with on a daily basis. It was interesting to me to see and hear the number of people who, days after AB’s marketing disaster, where still unaware of it. There were people that first week who bought AB products because they simply weren’t aware they were purchasing gender fluid. By now, just about everyone knows about it; whether they are for or against it. And there are a LOT more people against it. And from what I have seen, those people that said “frick off” to AB have not changed their position one bit. I am seeing even more inventory of anheuser-busch products at the stores I shop at this week than I did last week. And even more empty holes on shelves and in coolers where their competitors normally are.

I ran out of Heineken’s the other night. Went to the Dollar General at 9:50PM and bought a six pack of BL. No shame.

Worked till midnight drank beer , ate supper and had no tranny desires ! Was perfectly confident in my sexual orientation. Heterosexual if it matters. I could give two shits who other people pretend to be.

I never want to let politics or all of this social correctness or whatever it is interfere with beer drinking.

Just give me a cold one.
