Andrew Yang clearly doesn't know how the process of obtaining a warrant to search happens.
No "buy-in" or "notification of higher levels of government" is needed. It's pretty much a law enforcement - magistrate transaction.
Legally, yes. Politically there's no way this happened without WH knowledge and endorsement, and Yang must think his twitter audience is stupid as hell to even float that.

When it comes to serving a search warrant on a former president, that decision should not be made by a low level LEO and magistrate judge.

I doubt it.

Complete bullshite.
No way in freaking hell did a local judge and local FBI office raid an ex-president of the United States without consent from the top.
No way in hell.

The key word here is "former," because once you no longer occupy the White House as a sitting President, that makes you a private citizen. Also, this warrant is under seal, which means that there were steps taken to ensure that this search was conducted without much fanfare.
Also, a magistrate is not just going to rubber stamp a request for a search warrant without probable cause. Those requests have to be very specific.

It seems like this was authorized by a local judge and a particular FBI office without buy-in or notification of higher levels of government.
The DOJ has already admitted that Wray and what's his name, signed off on it.

Yep, no way a magistrate or the FBI would do anything politically motivated.

Will this be how the media covers for the Dems? Blaming this on a rogue agent and judge.

Besides his shite crazy political beliefs Andrew Yang has been one of the very few on that side with any amount of critical thinking ability. Probably because he hasn’t been in politics his whole life.

Something like that would require sign-off by Garland at a bare minimum.

Quote so some actually see it and maybe read it.
*No way does a local FBI station chief, or whatever they are called, raid a former president on his own initiative. That shouldn't even be a question.

Yang is a dumbass. If you say enough, eventually you’ll say something right.

This came from the puppet masters and the three-letter agencies.

He doesnt, but Im not sure how the regime expects people to believe his "I didnt know" schtick after he got caught in that very same lie over Hunter's business dealings just a few weeks ago.
Alas, the leftist devotees like DEG and Oklaprog will sear its the truth. This country is lost.

This was a mistake of epic, colossal proportions....amazed how the Uniparty fails to see that which is before them - in technicolor, no less.

But a fundamental part of his appeal has been that it’s him against a corrupt government establishment. This raid strengthens that case for millions of Americans who will see this as unjust persecution
This raid will help Trump, not hurt him.
Democrats do not understand that for the most part.

Nor do mainstream GOP elected officials

I think, if he manages to survive this and win, he will certainly have a powerful mandate to rain hellfire on DC. Every bureau gutted, budgets slashed, people fired, heads rolling down the steps of the Capitol.
