Can somebody find the video of Weissman on Chuck Todd's show?
That wasn't the correct link.

If McCabe was concerned about a looming indictment would he be making the rounds on the MSM news shows?
Seems his lawyer would counsel against this.
I can offer an opinion, but don't try to take it to the bank.....might possibly get arrested by Barr on a federal counterfeit money wrap.
So to suddenly sink out of public view would perhaps send up a red flag that there's something to be concerned about. Also, if he stays in the public eye and continues to be a bit of a critic of the Trump administration, there's the belief of a cloak of protection around himself in terms of "Look over here people! Persecution by the President of a critic going on!!" That that might discourage the zealous pursuit of McCabe. That's false hope though.

This guy will review Flynn's case.

So he is also reviewing McCabe because was a part of ordering Flynn's home raided and framed?

Dude man sounds concerned for his pals.
Good thing someone is. Guy probably observed the highly inadvisable victory lap McCabe and his MSM pals were taking and was quite taken aback. The reality of the announcement was closure of a relatively weak penny ante case not involving the FISA related matters in any way whatsoever. And a case that likely had a problem to some extent with, yes, our favorite element of the crime....intent. So don't chase this rabbit if there's a more formidable investigation going on elsewhere.
But Weissman saw his buddy and enablers blatantly lying about the announcement being a severe blow to the Trumpian theory of intra-government conspiracy to upend his young presidency, i.e. "must have been a grand jury that agreed there's nothing to that conspiracy theory. We win, you lose." CNN has or had today an article to that exact effect. Utter lies.
Truth is, the McCabe announcement had not a thing whatsoever to do with the FISA etc matters, but rather, his inappropriate actions to clear Hillary via the Clinton Foundation, or more specifically being deceptive about his efforts. McCabe et al went way overboard with their fraudulent victory lap, and it greatly concerned Weissman.

Thanks for all that but Flynn did the same crime as McCabe and he didn't skate. (And the FBI agents said Flynn didn't lie, shady 302's) So some may wonder regarding McCabe; why not tack on the lying offense to the other big FISA abuse/sedition crimes later?
They let Comey skate when Lisa and Peter retroactively changed the classification for him to skate. Same for him has been said. They will get him on the bigger crimes...

Andy should be concerned for himself, too. As most know, it was he who spearheaded the 2-year witch-hunt, not the senile old bat. McCabe was part of the team until.his anti-Trump bias became public knowledge, so you know Andy has some dirt on Andy (you can read that either way and it still works).

I agree with you. I don’t believe any hammer will drop. We may get some tidbits from Durham. But if things keep going as they have with two year investigations, I’d put money on a wager that the Dems are able to run out the clock.

Well, it's rather clear to me that people interested in these matters of "draining the swamp" fall into one of two categories: (1) basically everything you hear and read is deceptive and/or has some level of corruption behind it, or (2) Occam's Razor style approach.
I tend to naturally lean towards the latter, which in this case, specifically the difference between the government's approach to Flynn's case vs that of different case(s) involving the same alleged crime (including McCabe's)....lying to a federal investigator. The key part of the definition of that crime IMO is "knowingly and intentionally". McCabe, being a highly trained decepticon, likely was able to thinly skate that element, at least enough to call into question for the DOJ the liklihood of proving that element beyond a reasonable doubt.
No two cases are alike, and if anyone's going to be good at efficiently acting out "I gave statements that were known to me at the time to be truthful, to the best of my knowledge, information and belief" it would be someone like McCabe.
Just because he gets away with that, which people do sometimes unfortunately, that doesn't mean he will skate on the next thing.
