I think you win. Looks like the Garmon Law Firm reserved that business name yesterday.

What a slouch

His legal experience includes having served administratively on cases achieving a $20 million and $5 million verdict, as well as a $40 million settlement. He had handled hundreds of cases personally and his team has the combined experience of thousands of cases. He has personally won hearings and trials at every level from Municipal Court, Administrative Hearings, Circuit Court trials and in Federal Court cases. He has represented a state Supreme Court Chief Justice, a City Council Member, the disabled, the falsely accused, families of those tragically killed, the unborn and countless others. From catastrophic injury cases, wrongful death cases to those who were injured in a wreck or buy a dangerous product, Trent has and continues to battle for people.

I'd guess they formed it to add a layer of insulation between their work for Moore and the PI practice.

You’re back! How cute.
So, you know these folks?

So it looks as though he represented a “state Supreme Court justice” in the past.

Moore’s attorneys in the 2004 judicial inquiry were “Andrew D. Dill, Foundation for Moral Law, Inc., Montgomery; ?and Phillip L. Jauregui, Birmingham.”

I can’t yet figure out who represented him in the 2017 proceedings.

Looks like in the federal action, his lawyers were “Horatio G. Mihet, Mathew Staver, Liberty Counsel, Orlando, FL, Phillip Leo Jauregui, Judicial Action Group, Birmingham, AL,”

Not unusual for a PI firm to advertise numbers like that.
What is unusual is a former SSC justice hiring a PI attorney that doesn't list libel law as an area of practice (but does list dog bites and slip and falls) and graduated from a non-ABA accredited law school. But is religion bona fides check out. The Gadsden office location is beside a vacant gas station. Just seems strange. If they are going to actually file and Lightfoot Franklin White is the defense firm, they better start hiring lawyers and staff tomorrow.

Mr. Jauregui seems to be a DC based lawyer.

There is some reference to Mr Garmon representing Moore is a suit against the Southern Poverty Law Center. Anyone know anything about that?

Could you work some of your KGB contacts to get us some info on these lawyers? TIA.

IIRC the SPLC filed has filed a series of ethics complaints against Moore over the years.

Like anyone gives a shite about the Southern Poverty Law Center!

What I see is he is a Birmingham attorney. It seems Moore picks his attorneys from a network of highly religious ones, which makes perfect sense. It may also be that he would be concerned the higher profile libel attorneys might be controlled by higher powers and not the Godly type.

What does it matter what his lawyer religious affiliations are?
Is my question that hard to comprehend?
