An observation of mine: liberals more likely to actually read threads on here than cons

I've noticed that in debating/controversial threads on here that go on for multiple pages, liberals actually get quite a few upvotes. In threads about the special counsel or something trump has said, it's not uncommon to find 50:50 or even a slightly positive upvote/downvote ratio for liberal posts
Just a little observation
People in support of trump are more likely to come in and upvote the OP, but per capita, liberals are more likely to be reading the whole thread and upvoting their viewpoints in later pages

I imagine it's a function of selection bias. Most "liberals" who post here probably want to engage--even if they do so in a provocative or "trolling" manner. They're interested in discussing issues with people who disagree with them. And that probably goes for like 90% of them.
Some conservatives here and all Trumpkins are looking for a pep rally/an opportunity to talk shite in a place where they know most will have their back no matter how stupid and/or clueless they are (i.e. Bengal, SDV, etc)

Been saying this for a while. Most of the Trumpkins just want an echo chamber and when you dare to try to engage them in a debate...they scream their various melt, snowflake, etc...attempting to "shout" you down.

TD is one of the very few non-politics sites I know of that is not completely dominated by the left
Certainly every movie or music board I go to tilts wildly left in its political posts. Even if it supposedly has a non-politics policy, leftists will post political shite and you risk banning if you even point that out. I actually got banned from IMDb (a movie forum) this way.
I won't even mention the wasteland of reddit

Funny I felt the same way from Obama supporters on here during his 8 years in office. If you disagreed with him, you were a Racist, or any other "ist" and called names. Media orgasmed all over themselves to pump him and his policies up and demonized anyone who disagreed with him.
Not that I agree with all of what Trump has done, I don't. But I do love that he has brought the media bias out in the open and they don't even try to hide it anymore.
Also the irony and hypocrisy of left and right and but especially the left lately regarding deficits, Obamacare etc.

Just because the little arrows don't get higher numbers next to them doesn't mean they are not reading the posts. Your "observation" should also take into account that Liberals could also not be reading, and simply upvoting those they have aligned opinions on in previous instances, or Republicans that do read simply don't upvote further into threads. That's only a few of the things you're not taking into account.
Hell, I only upvote things I strongly agree with, and I can stick with threads for a while if they are interesting.
