I went and gave a talk at my HS telling the kids that there's a gazillion ways to be successful and that they dont have to go to college if they don't want to (the whole "if you're smart, you'll figure it out" argument). Explained how to sell yourself and build a network, yada yada.
One of the history teachers told his class in the period after the assembly that I should have acknowledged my white privilege

What KA does in their facility is their business - they are not racists - and their former academic advisor, who is now retirered is still powerful and influential at that school. If this gets pushed to far, well...
...also, moving to Louisiana is like moving to a third world country for this guy. He needs his platform - also, how in the world would he even know about KA's rituals - he is looking for a fight.

This is just awful. I'm so sorry you and your girlfriend are having to encounter people with different convictions. Better steer clear I'd hate for someone to challenge your way of thinking. Social commentary is not "whining" son . It's how we evaluate our society, by examining it, noting the trends and suggesting solutions. If you need to MELT and WHINE more about valid and prove-able social commentary than hit me up at your earliest convenience and I will slowly walk you through it in a way you may be able to understand .

Academics HATE this approach. Members of "Big Education" would much prefer kids to spend tens of thousands getting useless degrees and living off the tit than to be creative all on their own. It is what keeps them employed in their leftist fantasy world and thus prevents them from having to deal in reality.

I had a dumb frick say the same thing about my dad a while back. I almost punched him in the face. My father is a first generation cajun that literally grew up dirt poor, barely graduated from HS, and made something of himself while retiring at the ripe age of 55. He succeeded without the leftist crutch, so naturally, growing up dirt poor was white privilege.
These people wouldn't survive one month in the real world and they know it.
