All this world policemen BS is not going end well for the USA. Once a currency becomes more dependable than the dollar and people do not want our debt we are in real trouble.

Fools talking about trade deficits fail to understand that so long as we are giving the world more dollars than we are taking back there will be demand for our debt. Japan and China hold a boat load of US debt because that is what they have to show for decades of trade deficits with the USA.

If we continue to flood the world markets with US debt one day we will find the only buyers are our own central bank.

America's Greatest Enemy Is Neither China nor Russia (It's Debt)

If you are concerned about the future of America you will be an advocate of less spending---less spending on social programs and defense.

Wrong. Democrats said debt is no biggie and that tax cuts are the problem.

Tariffs if they are successful in reducing the trade deficit significantly will reduce the demand for our debt and create problems for us.

We will likely follow the lead of other debt laden countries like Argentina or in the extreme Venezuela and devalue our currency by printing more money robbing American savers of value and all of us of the value of our wages and profits. A decline in standard of living will result.

this is closer to the truth. Rampant sin is the biggest problem and progressives are the demons leading the way of evil.

I disagree. Alexander Hamilton and the First Bank of the United States consolidated the states debts into a singular national debt in order to attract world bankers. Our current system isn't designed for us to be debt free.

Our biggest enemy is globalism. Globalism that has been pushed by world leaders foreign and domestic.

Ok. Alexander Hamilton and the First Bank existed at a time when currency was gold and silver certificates and debt retirement capacity was easy to see.

What is globalism in your view??

When then dipshit the ultimate problem is the fricking voting public because politicians are scumbags who pander to the max number of voters.

Now WTF is your solution other than whining about it?

Everybody already knows this is the fricking problem.

Do tell us how it would turn out if Trump and/or the congressional Republicans decided to tackle SSand Medicare. What do they gain by committing political suicide?

Ok
Let’s give up and let China take every last manufacturing job we have. We can all work at Taco Bell and live like good little Chinese subjects.
How about another way forward, take back our role as the world’s leading manufacturer and crush all enemies under the weight of the United States boot.

Seems like a valid strategy for a sovereign America.
