I have been. Got yanked from my car and actually detained for 30 minutes while waiting on my buddy to go get his hardhat. He was black, it was 4 am, he came out to the car and then ran back in because he forgot it. Cop lit me up and swore I just bought drugs. Buddies grandma raised hell (after she got up and put on her gown). Cop eventually said he was sorry and I left.

They were not harassed. He was doing his job. All they had to do was show ID and the encounter would be over in 2 minutes. Havre has a population of like 10k, is 99% white/Native, and a few miles from Canada. Not a lot of people speaking Spanish.
Instead they wanted to be social media stars so they played the victim card rather than cooperate.
Dumb fricks do this all the time at BP checkpoints on the southern border. You can find them on YouTube.

I am just curious why it takes 40 minutes to verify someones citizenship with ID.

You're a fricking clown, I have had my white arse detained and questioned before, when I was a completely innocent bystander, but the cops had to do their job, so they did, verified who I was and what I was doing and let me go, took almost a damn hour but I didn't act stupid or fricking belligerent, I just remained respectful, answered the basic questions and told them to be safe as I went on my way.

Oh good lord. I’m Mexican. The type of crap you write is much more racist than anything those border patrol agents did.
